Have been visiting Izakaya since 2019; love wasabi girl and the fact they grind fresh wasabi flown straight from Japan for you on the spot. On point.

My favourites: WAGYU kushiyaki- BUT make sure the chef does NOT over cook it (medium is the way to go) - vegetable tempura - yellowtail and salmon carpaccio - chicken gyoza - nigiri sushi. Super fresh, always consistent.

My least liked: seaweed salad (so far nothing beats 3 Fils) - soft shell crab tempura - sushi rolls.

They are slightly steep in pricing but the ambience, service and quality (rather than quantity) of the dishes evens it out rather reasonably I think.

Definitely a place we keep coming back to for a reason. Must visit!

Having been to this location under different ownership I did not expect much, and had avoided. However, went spontaneously a few nights ago and was very pleasantly surprised. Really nice food (what we had at least) really nice ambience, which is something a lot of places don't seem to make an effort with. Being able to easily just chat without raising your voice does wonders for the overall experience in a place. Combined with a good dining experience, made it a definite one to return to.

Overall a very nice place to dine in. The food and sashimi are fresh and would recommend their wagyu izakaya stick and the sashimi platter. I personally feel that the pricing is okay for this quality and standard. Service is great.

We also ordered their teppanyaki teriyaki chicken and I thought is quite average.

If I’m back in Dubai, I will surely return again :)

One of the best Japanese restaurants in Dubai. You must try the Teppanyaki theme night, a chef will be cooking live in front of you with an amazing show.

The food is amazing and so is the stuff! Best sushi, best salmon carpaccio and absolutely the tastiest black cot!

The food at Izakaya is SO tasty, honestly the best Japanese food I’ve had in a long time. Service was excellent, you will not regret eating here.

A great experience. We went here to celebrate a Bday and they gave a complimentary dish that was full of surprises. The food was beyond amazing. And the service was set to par. Beautiful ambience. Though we sat for the a la'carte menu, the teppanyaki table is a must try. Wasabi girl gave us some wasabi to try and to my surprise it was both spicy and sweet at the same time . So if you're thinking of making your celebration a memory you will never forget, do try this place.

Everything was amazing here. From decor right down to the dessert. I would highly recommend Izakaya to anyone who wants to enjoy Japanese food with just the right stylish-casual vibe. Special thanks to Clarence for her exceptional service. Also, love the energy and friendliness of Wasabi girl. Overall, great experience at Izakaya. Kudos to the team.
