I recently joined this swimming school and while the people here are quite nice, I have to say that the overall experience has been quite disappointing. The facility is extremely under equipped, which is a major downside for anyone looking for a serious swimming training.

In addition, the management policies don't seem to prioritize customer satisfaction. When I first joined, they suddenly closed for two weeks for maintenance without any prior notice, and refused to offer any refunds for the lost time. This was quite frustrating, as I had already paid for the full subscription.

Later on, I was unfortunately injured during one of the training sessions and had to take three weeks off to recover. Despite their earlier confirmation that my subscription would not be affected, I was surprised to find out that those three weeks were cut off my subscription which doesn't make any sense.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend this swimming school to any serious learners out there. The lack of proper equipment and poor management policies can make it a frustrating experience.

The worst school ever. If you aren’t arabic speaker and more if you aren’t Egyptian don’t try to there. You will disappointed. The coach won’t bother himself to go near to your kid

It's a very nice place for kids to learn. Very good admosphere and well trained staff.very supportive and caring about the kids. As a mother I suggest this place.

Great Pub, Awesome jukebox and Good atmosphere.

Toilets could do with a refub but it doesn't stop me going back time after time..

Good smoking area upstairs ????

Been going here for 20 years! Always get a pint at the best price!

Grotty spot with next to no natural light or real character. Deeply unpleasant and unwelcoming bar staff. Terrible drink selection. Other than the still somewhat cheap prices, I cannot fathom why anyone would want to drink here with the amount of great boozers in walking distance.

The Pilgrim is a classic venue. This review is for people new to or visiting Liverpool as otherwise youll know it. I've been going there since 2002 and it's hardly changed. Its a small underground bar with a uncovered seating area upstairs. Cheap house double and trebles are available along with £1 bottles of lager. The jukebox is free between 1pm and 4pm so great place for a day session.

Loads of character and characters inhabit the Pilgrim. Great place for a long session or popping in for a swift one.

Is this a joke???

I visited here today with my family. There was around 8 of us 4 young people aged 20s and 4 older 40s/50s. We had an absolute blast, right up until the staff refused to serve us, not because we were drunk, but because we were too loud. I hAve worked in hospitality and I am aware staff cannot serve drunk people. However this was not the reason for refusing service. There was absolutely no one in the establishment, and we had spent a lot in here. No one had complained about our table. It seemed the staff had a chip on their shoulder towards us. We may have been loud but if they would’ve told us we would’ve been more quiet. The place was empty! It felt like we were picked on for no reason other than having a good time. No explanation was given. It’s such a shame we felt singled out for no reason other than having a good time. We will not be returning.

Really nice and typical English pub to go and enjoy a beer. The owner is super cool and friendly, and they got a large choice of alcohol, really well recomended

Visit early afternoon and it wasn’t busy at all but you can tell that it must get really going later on . Basement pub with some outdoor seating to the side . Only stopped in for a quick pint but really enjoyed the music mix during my visit.

Spent many years coming here until last night which will be my last visit due to a very aggressive, rude barmaid. No warning of "last orders or please drink up" , she stood and screeched "get out now" literally in our faces.
The nice lads who work there (some new) were obviously humiliated by this vile girl however did nothing and let her ruin everyone's evening.
People were talking outside about this brash, rough girl!
Get rid as she does not know how to interact with humans and will cause conflict while she is there!!! Very poor for revisits.
