Excellent and well equipped kids club which is open until 7pm. The staff were very friendly but didn’t really engage with the children; more about allowing them to do their own thing. They also seem to be quick to call you if your child indicates they are bored or want to leave.
The facilities are great although would have preferred the kids pool to have been shaded/ covered to provide comfort from the heat.
The gym is well equipped and modern. Great staff managing the spa and gym. Spa facilities are a joy to use and the jacuzzi pools are awesome.
The brasserie 2.0 offers a great spread but can feel a bit repetitive so would advise using the other restaurants onsite especially Indya by Vineet and Maya.
The restaurant offering by the pool is expensive for what it is but I guess you pay for the convenience of dining on the lounger by the pool.
One big miss is that they do not have shisha available anywhere onsite. They did have before but Al Khaima has been closed for the summer which meant you had to venture out for shisha. That being said, there is a restaurant across the road called Al Shorfa that is open until 4am that offers shisha.

We certainly liked the hotel, its comfortable location, nice rooms, good service, and overall we had a favorable feeling from the hotel. However, there was an unpleasant incident, which I promised to write about.
At the check in we were charged by the tourist tax twice. We paid by card, and the first payment, as the hotel employee said, did not pass, and he asked us to pay again. We did not want to do this because there was already a transaction in the online bank, but the employee insisted.
We were charged two amount of tax, a few days later we went to the reception. We were told that they had only one payment, then asked to wait 10 days, promised to sort it all out, swore they had nothing to do and did not want to charge us double, when checking out they asked to wait another month and again said that they had not written off the money twice. From the hotel administration as a compliment from the hotel for this situation was sent to the room a bottle of wine for $ 5.
However, more than two months have passed since the end of the vacation and the money has still not been refunded.
When I checked out of the hotel, I promised the hotel employees to write a review if the money is not returned and I kept my promise, unlike the hotel, which still has not done anything.
