The nurses and doctors are hard to fault. Unfortunately it is so hard to get an appointment, like anywhere in the UK at the moment they are over crowded with not enough appointments and staff. Whenever I have phoned with an appointment request for my child however she has always been seen or had a call back. Not once has she been left. I feel awful for the staff they take loads of flack for things beyond their control.

I changed practice and finally I've been treated correctly.
What a pity for the station practice reputation. I'm not only talking on the fact a problem for the one station practice have never been able to solve in 8 months (8 months without any proper appointment and when I finally managed to have 1 the gp just gave me antibiotics and a cream which didn't work at all) when I came back to them after 3 weeks to tell them, the doctor was on holiday for a month LOL. In between the reception, rude most of the time just guided me to the walk in center and there they can't do anything but they are agree on the incompetence of station practice.... I changed practice talked to a lovely receptionist had an appointment in a week booked and 3 weeks after my problem is finally resolved. Easy I needed the right cream and regarding their opinions not 3 times antibiotics with no follow-up by the doctor. Shame on you at the station
practice. Covid gave you the right to not do your job properly and you're fine with it.
With the station practice you call at 8am at 10 noone has picked up your call . With this new practice max 20 min wait and you have an appointment at the end.

On January 17th, I had an 8am appointment with a lady GP, I found her to be courteous and helpful. On Thursday I received a text from the practice requesting I attend an appointment with nurse re blood pressure and blood test, however nothing to do with my last appointement. Rather than waste surgery time I thought it courteous to ring and cancel the appointment. as I didnt want to attend.When I spoke to the nurse, she become quite insistant and obstructive, I felt, she said that she would have to report to the GP that I declined. I thanked for the concern and would contact the surgery if I needed to. I do not wish appointments to be made for me without contacting me. I found the nurses attitude very over bearing . I would suggest more training in patient contact, being ex medical myself. Regards Diana King ( Mrs )

Incredibly rude staff (some) … BUT also some very kind and helpful ones
Overall though some staff are very incapable …
sarcastic, rude and seem to have no integrity whatsoever …
They ask patients not to be rude … of course no one should be rude
BUT some staff need to adhere by this too.
Very unprofessional and disorganised.

Worst surgery. I work full time with multiple jobs. I can never get through on the days I try to ring at 8am and when I do they say all appointments are gone and try again tomorrow.. even though I rang on the dot..the system is terrible and needs looking at...

The best thing this Practice does is give you a link to Push Doctor which I couldn't fault. Followed link and booked an appointment for next morning at 0830 waited in a digital waiting room and was seen online 15 minuets early, x-ray booked 2 week wait because of Christmas delay, 2 weeks later Doctor from practice phoned 30 second conversation to agree hip replacement required, saw consultant end March hip done in June. What back log.
However try and get a appointment even to see a nurse for prescription review wait over a month, heaven help you if you needed to see an actual doctor. I believe "AI" health assistants are on the horizon which should help.

You try and get a call back on the NHS app and its never switched on. You try to reach them via other options and you get told to go through the medical app which is NEVER on or to call..... 8.03am and you are number 27 in the cue ????
Terrible service when or IF you do get through. Reception tell you that no phone appointments available, try again tomorrow, you try to explain you've been trying for 3 days and its urgent you speak to the doctor, she then tells you sorry if its urgent call 111 or try again tomorrow. You explain AGAIN and she tells you, SORRY but you'll just have to keep trying or contact citizens advice ??????. Even though its about a screw up on mental health medication for your partner and NEED to speak to the doctor !!! Terrible service
But if you do manage to speak to a doctor they are brilliant, just need reception to stop trying to diagnose patients

What's the point in having a doctors if they don't awnser the phone.... I NEED to see my doctor! But yet again on hold at 8.30am!! Again!! Plus they have no interest what so ever about my mental health and are not trained in this department!
