In the past time , this mall was one of the shiny malls in Dubai ,but nowadays, due to huge shopping centres and retail shops recently opened ,it is brightness gets lost .
Still have some good restaurants as Danial , and other shops like Homes R us , in addition to government services .
Still unique with it is design and arrangement.

Shiny mall near the city walk. Has grocery store, AMER center, restaurants etc. The interior design and the ambience looks grand.

10 minutes walk from Dubai Mall Metro station and its one of the smaller, older and old-fashioned malls, now overtaken by the much bigger newer variety.

So no real reason to visit it unless you live locally and not a great selection of shops / eateries.

I just went to access one of the government document happiness centres otherwise no reason to visit. Very quiet and deserted but clean

The Mazaya Centre lives up to its name (in Arabic, "Al Mazaya" means "unique" or special), from the building design and quality of finish, right to its elegant mix of retailers, providing a full commitment to our customers. With 130,000 square feet of retail area it offers ver 600 parking spaces for the visitors. Mazaya Centre opened in the year 2000 and is located on Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai less than 400m after the first junction and just opposite to the most prestigious Square kilometer on the planet, which includes the tallest building in the world "Dubai Tower".

Even quieter now the furniture store (was it Homes R Us?) has gone and the space taken by a boutique hotel with an unpronouncable and unmemorable acronymic name (such idiots these 'cool' people who make up such brands) but Danial is still there for a gut-busting quirky buffet and there's some government service office too. So, not a mall as such. Dont drop by expecting to browse the shops.

Mazaya is a nice place to visit once in a while. You can see boutiques and shops that may interests you.

It is along Sheikh Zayed Road so very easy to locate.

My experience of the Mazaya Shopping Centre is mainly convenience. I rate it about three-star. There are a couple of cafe/restaurants that i rate them two-star and the LEVA hotel i rate 3.5 star. The shopping is limited but i frequently use an exchange bureau (Lari Exchange) that i rate as 4-star, this would be my main attraction to the Mall.

There are also a number of government offices in the Mall. I have used the LEVA hotel on a number of occasions to put up clients coming to Dubai on business.
