Through out my experience as a high school teacher for five years with DIS, I can say that the School provide a wonderful environment for students to participate in different kind of art and activities such as Visual Art, Drama, Media & stage performances.

This school is so bad, bathrooms are so crusty and dirty, supervisors are so mean and do not reason and have no respect for anyone for example a supervisor aggressively started wiping a girls face with no consent from the girl because she thought she had blush on, it wasn’t blush it was rosacea.this is just one example.the stairs seem deadly because their so steep the building is so old and bad it feels like the roof will fall down, the ac’s don’t work at random and you have to sit in the heat,In my honest opinion this school should be shut down it doesn’t even deserve a rating of acceptable because it’s far from acceptable, the teachers aren’t even that good,it depends who you get but in my experience their were many that shouldn’t call themself teachers and shouldn’t teach the next generation of kids because their going to mess them up, don’t take you kids to this school if your not willing to pay for therapy.

I am a senior at DIPS-G. I am very happy to be in this school. I have many friends. Our supervisors and teachers love and support us. Some of my teachers have a great sense of humor and open very interesting discussions with us! I never feel bored or demotivated. Recently I had the most amazing counseling session with one of the school leaders, I was very well informed about the graduation requirements, and I held a deep conversation about my future with parents and the counselor. My parents were so surprised to hear so many new ideas that I spoke about. The counselor was gentle, patient and resourceful. She gave me many ideas and information about potential 21st century career opportunities which helped me pave my way towards choosing a possible major at university. I am a new student and in my old school, we never received this kind of one-on-one attention and support. At DIPS-G , I feel special. I am not just a number.

I am very happy that my son is attending DIPS-G. He is in Elementary and loves to come to school every day. He tells us about every lesson he takes and what activities he participates in. The best part is the Wellbeing theme days. These are simply amazing! He can express himself through the dress up theme days. Lessons are not traditional where students just memorize or recite. In my son’s school, students inquire, discuss, argue, debate analyze and synthesize. My son’s critical thinking skills keep improving day by day. He even debates with us, his own parents! I am very satisfied overall, and I feel secure that my son is receiving the quality education I aspire to offer him. He is learning and having fun at the same time, and this for me is quality education!

I am a student at Dubai International Private School and I have been in this school since KG. I feel very proud to be in this school because I feel safe, heard and supported whenever I am confused in a lesson or have a personal problem. My teachers and supervisors are kind and friendly to us all the time. I feel they are like my family.
We are encouraged to bring our devices to school as our lessons are linked to technology and we do a lot of research ion classes. Although the school does not encourage the use of mobiles, they allow us to use them for emergency reasons and sometimes to replace our missing devices. We are continuously reminded not to bring our mobile phones to school and if they are ever confiscated, our parents are summoned to school to take our phones from the administration. Our personal belongings are always kept safe with the administration until our parents come to school to get them.
However recently we have been informed that mobile phones will be strictly forbidden under any circumstances. At DIPS, we know the rules and our boundaries, and we are always happy to follow them. It makes me happy to make my parents teachers and supervisors proud of me.

As a current student, I can confidently state that DIS-G is very underrated. For anyone who intends to get the best american education DIS -G is a perfect choice. Furthermore, the school has been expanding and renovating its building. The environment is very welcoming and it is easy to find people with similar interests and views. The teachers have also been really supportive. I have gone to the office hours of all of my teachers, and they have all been very helpful.

Dubai International School has an honorable history. The school follows the American curriculum and has been accredited by The New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) since 2019. It provides an excellent teaching quality using different teaching methods , resources, and strategies compared to the tuition fees.
The superintendent is very creative, and persistent to overcome difficulties. It is worth mentioning that the great changes she has made so far are so enormous and impressive.
The leaders and teachers are well experienced, qualified, and dedicated.

Dubai International School is a great place for our kids to enjoy learning and enjoy themselves. My son calls it home, he looks forward every day to meet his teachers and friends. He is eager to learn new things daily by exploring and discovering. The school is always updated with new teaching and learning approaches. I feel content and satisfied towards the learning strategies that my son receives.
