We were staying at Anantara, where the restaurant is located, so it was an easy choice, but we were not deceived.
Nice atmosphere, lovely Thai decor, friendly staff and good food, + alcohol, what else?
Experience to be repeated, and it is worth going there even if you do not stay at the hotel.

Got here for early dinner on a Saturday night. I do recommend getting a reservation. The ambiance was decent, live traditional Vietnamese music playing in the background. But the food wasn’t blow your mind amazing. We tried the papaya salad, prawn and vegetable dumplings and the steamed sea bass. I’d only recommend the steamed sea bass from what we were able to taste. The dumplings were dull and the salad was regular

We had the great time celebrating our 16th year Anniversary. We were both ecstatic and satisfied. From the location to the service provided, Thailand vibe, peaceful ambiance and sumptuous food. Everything was perfect. I would like to commend Shelby for making sure we are well attended and comfortable throughout our dinner. Authentic Thai Food!!! Truly, a must visit restaurant.

I've heard about this restaurant as "the best restaurant in Dubai". But I didn't understand why, so I decided to try it myself.

We were a couple, booked in advancd and arrived 15 minutes late due to constructions on the Palm. We managed to get our table (50% of the restaurant was empty). But they still made us wait at the entrance.

The food was good, but not outstanding, the chicken in my meal was deeply fried before it was put into the sweet & sour sauce. I mean the chicken wasn't easy to be chewed easily, it was hard!

The small amount of the rice bowl they served wasn't good enough to finish my meal.

Food isn't the biggest asset here, or maybe my dish wasn't their signature dish. I'm happy to try it again to be more fair with my rating.

We were staying at the Anantara Hotel.
On the first day we dinner at the Mekong.
On this day we know, Mekong is a very good and special Restaurant!
We eat there 3 times more and everything was very good there.
Good Atmosphere and also good People.
Big Big thanks to Ester, she’s a very friendly worker.
We can’t disclaim anything, everything was so perfect.
Thank you very much for the good Dinner!!!
If I can, I would give you 10 stars!!!!

Second time around in this restaurant and they always, always have really great service. Too bad we can’t really take the wine out but overall a good and pleasant meal and a happy tummy for us both. ???? keep it up! Until my next DXB trip! ????????

I had to wait a whole year until I could come to you again. It was with great anticipation that I remembered the excellent food and your warm hospitality. The ambience is extremely stylish and the rooms generously furnished. We are always welcomed with warmth and even after 365 days you remember us and our personal characteristics and origins. Between the exquisite courses and the uniquely courteous service, we often laugh with you casually and tell each other exciting little anecdotes. The food is exquisite and the diverse tastes always transport us to wonderful culinary worlds. We would love to take you home with us, as we always leave the restaurant with a smile and a happy heart after a wonderful evening. Please stay with us for a very, very, very long time. It was an amazing evening dinner at Mekong. I went with my friend's family. Excellent food and great ambiance, very good service by Jessie & team Phyu, Wyati, and all Chefs! Making sure we had everything we needed Ans always with a smile! Thank you for a surprise birthday cake! Highly recommend!
