My son and I have played this course a number of times. The course itself is well maintained and fun. Whilst the bar staff have always been welcoming the same cannot be said of the members or other staff members. Whilst playing today we were accosted by the Marshall who accused of not playing green fees. Apparently a member had reported us even though they had not had the decency to speak to us. It was a horrible experience. My son is learning to play and has been completely put off. It left a bitter taste in the mouth and because of it we left after 5 holes.

I just read a review claiming the club unwelcoming and even hostile to non Members. I would never have believe that this could true but I do after todays experience.

Worse experience of my whole golf career. Greens poorly kept with many diverts. Martial was rude. Members make you feel very unwelcome. Unfortunately due to these factors my round was cut short to 5 holes as i had completely lost the enthusiasm for the round.

Very good course.The greens were some of the best I have played on.Well done there green staff

Members are not friendly and think they own the place… do not attempt to play for a fun round with friends!! The groundsmen were incompetent & abrupt. Do not recommend!

Lovely helpful staff. We had my dad's funeral reception in the lounge which was screened off for us with access to the bar. Great food. Couldn't have had a better day.
