My friend & I got extra charge & need to request refund as the card gate didn't recognise the check in most of the time.

No disabled access to platforms, scandalous considering how many people use this station and how busy and residential Putney is! Why can London Transport prioritise a rural station like Ickenham for lifts , over Putney???

Although built for steam trains in 1905 it's not intended for the modern lifestyle, it's entrance is not far off it's historic original in design. I think that they could let South West Trains use it during peak hours to help take some pressure of the District Line, but as I use it generally during the quite periods I find it an enjoyable experience.

Good, but has two unused platforms where the only trains towards Waterloo don't stop

Does exactly what it's supposed to. The District line can regularly be a pain but i have never had any problems at this station.

Set back off the road there is something endearing about this building. Its certainly part of the old school. Easy to navigate and friendly staff.
