Young lady in the Southport store was great, informative, patient and friendly. I recieved regular emails/ texts about my order and delivery. The delivery was seamless, two lovely but professional guys. The bed is great. Only moan would be the cost of recycling the old mattress but it made the process easy and convenient .

The delivery and collection fees are excessive when compared to other companies who offer free delivery and much less for collection of old mattress. They virtually wipe away any discount provided in the sale. The staff also don’t have any opportunity to use their initiative to tie customers in by offering incentives ( e.g free pillows etc ) which is something I got from Stokers on the same day when purchasing a second bed ( 2 feather and down pillows ) I would have bought both beds from bensons if they had allowed their staff to be more flexible and use their initiative

Really helpful and knowledgable. Jamie at the southport branch was a really helpful salesman and was more than patient with our needs. My only gripe was the £30 delivery charge after you have made a purchase which is sprung on you once you have decided and made a purchase but other than that relly good experience

We purchased x2 wardrobes July 22. They were then delivered and assembled by a company they use. 1- Not installed correctly
2- Amy at Bensons in Southport had not ordered the correct matching doors received x1 gloss x1 matt. Also x5 internal extra shelves wrong size.
Called the shop to be advised it will be another x8 weeks for the items to arrive. Now December for replacement arrived but wrong door not a gloss door and no shelves!
Another call to Amy .
So eventually in January 2023 correct door has arrived and the extra shelves we had originally paid for in July 2022. For the self closing door not closing as it should. So my husband had to adjust it himself.

No compensation whatsoever no apologies either.

WILL NOT USE BENSONS FOR BEDS AGAIN OR BE RECCOMENDING THEM TO ANYONE ELSE.
DISGUSTING TREATING CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS.

Went in to purchase a new mattress. Store manager Ian was extremely knowledgeable and helped us choose the right mattress for us with no sales man gimmicks or pressure to buy. He even left us alone so we could have a think. Will definitely go back to Benson in the future. Thanks Ian ????
