One of the most expensive overrated restaurants in Dubai. Not worth it.

We ordered Mutton Pulao, Bombay duck, beef, pork, prawan and neer dosa.

Taste:
Nothing special, I bet your frustrated wife will cook better than this. The pork we ordered was pathetic not fat at all just a Chewy meat sauté in random masala (spices).
Prawns were over cooked and curry was bit on bitter note.
Mutton Pulao was so bland we fed it to our kids.
Fish which was wrapped with masala in banana leaf was ok’ish but masala was undercooked.

Ambiance: They tried to create Manglorian and Goan atmosphere which they almost succeeded but expect nothing great.

Value for money: The kind of food they serve I found it very expensive. I agree that not all restaurants serve pork dishes in Dubai so it’s obvious that price will be high but there has to be something which justifies the price customer is paying and I found not worthy.

Hygiene: Restaurant maintained it’s hygiene very well.
Washroom and wand wash area isn’t placed at right place, I found it’s middle of the restaurant (I could be wrong).

Service: Best (only) part of the restaurant hardworking waiters, we were almost 10 people on tables excluding children and just one waitress was serving us and she did her job very well.

A Culinary Tour to South-East Belt of India.
@rasa_restaurant_lounge
..
This restaurant mainly focuses on popular and traditional food from 3 states of India.
Goa, Manglore and Kerala.
..
We had a great time at the restaurant because this is our first time to experience something like this where we are having 3 different Indian cuisines all together in one restaurant.
..
In Indian every state has their own history of the way they cook and serve their food.
Much like that Goan, Mangalorean and Keralite cuisines are no different.
..
We were welcomed very well by the staff. This restaurant also serves Alcohol if someone desires to have alcohol. We saw many families in the restaurant also enjoying their food with kids.
..
We tried several things from all 3 parts.
Starters:
1) Potato pocket
2) Kaju Kebab Rolls
3) Paneer Pepper
4) Manglorean Bun
Drinks:
1) Kokam Sarbat
2) Watermelon juice
Mains:
1) Vegetable stew with Apam
2) Veg Ghasi with Neer Dosa
Desserts:
1) Bebinca with Coffee
Everything was different for us but it was all very delicious. We enjoyed Kaju Kebab Rolls, Paneer Pepper, veg ghasi and neer dosa. And yes of course they have some amazing delicacies for seafood lovers. All these places are located close to sea and coastal parts of India. We have heard a lot about seafood served here and hence we would highly recommend this to both vegetarians and Non vegetarians.

We ordered king fish rawa recheado masala fried, pomfret recheado, mutton xacuti, prawn chops, neer dosas and salad. Overall, the food was delicious. Although the masalas were not authentic Goan, the food was good and great value for money. Prawn chops were tasty but the size of tennis balls :-) Good presentation however service was a bit slow. Raghavendra was very hospitable and courteous and did a gr8 job and good suggestions.

Authentic Mangalore food- tried & tested!

They also have an mazing choice of dishes in Goa and Kerala cuisine but we specifically tried the Mangalore cuisine.

Some of the items we ordered were not on the menu card but on what was printed outside. There is also a separate tea zone. Outdoor seating is available. The staff were very polite and helpful in giving us suggestions.

Indian Food is famous for its diversity but thats not it. theres much more to indian food than you can think of. The true definition of it can be seen in the costal region that showcase the vast variety of food that a lot of us dont even know of is at Rasa with dishes from Kerala, Goa and Mangalore. A perfect blend of Flavours and spice in every dish.

We ordered
Mangalore Buns
Appam
Beef Kerala Pepper Fry
Chicken Ghee Roast
Prawns Goan Curry

The staff is courteous and quickz Every dish is tasty and is delectable

We have ordered 4 thali @ 35/- and we got small quantities of two dishes and curry (small bowl). They given for four people one plate rice. The supplier not come for giving any items even we called them continuously and they are showing very busy. We ordered 3 roti vegetable curry and again ordered one more roti but supplied but they added in the bill. We fight with them but we pay full money as there was no choice

Refurbished and looking great. The main person taking care of our orders was really pleasant and caring. Food was excellent - the quantity of the curries was so huge we had to parcel the remaining curry and take home. They have the menu in tablets and the pictures with each order set are attractive. The wall pictures also quite good and unique. We suggested that the salt in the chicken fry is a bit more than what we appreciate, and they were very cooperative in taking our suggestion. All in all, a good experience.
