Fantastic resource for Dumbarton. Took my son in for a free craft activity class. He loved it and no wants to go to the library. Brilliant books available and the staff are lovely.

Lovely library, friendly staff. Nice and modern. Study area looks like a pleasant environment too. Attended for Gaelic bookbug - Elidih was lovely. Class wasn't very well attended and I didn't see any advertising for the Gaelic bookbug, but I could have missed it. We will be back.

I messaged this superb library I was given all the information I was in searching for, but not without the kind help of the Lady in charge of Local Census and events . I was dumbfounded at the records & there Content during the Census at the turn of the century. I was so happy to hear what was taking place around Town .
I am a Lover of our heritage, Last week I Learned that Mc Lean place was where Public Hanging’s took place on where the old social work department stood .
The reason I. Contacted you lovely Ladies can help me . My. Other hobby is Metal detectors, I’ve researched it to a certain point that is the Copse of woodland, which I found out the market was Advertised in the
London Times’ Cattle Market’ being held in Renton, Scotland, I’ve been finding thick pennies with King - George the 4th I may be mixed up date wise. He seemed to be king around the era of 1890s. I came across the copy over 200 miles from John O groats, For the life of me I just couldn’t put it down for the simple reason I could recognise where Cronin was describing I could almost see the Content it will always like to know please do you hold any books pertaining to this Magnificent book . Good place for a good book, staff friendly sometimes, use computers, search local history, have a cuppa, and occasionally have famous folk in to talk about there latest books or journeys they've just done
