We had the wedding we dreamt of – it was literally the perfect day! We truly can’t thank Caroline enough for all of the months of detailed work, support, and care that she put in to make it so wonderful. Our guests haven’t stopped raving about Caroline’s stunning floristry it was so beautifully designed, and so many of the flowers were grown in the gardens themselves! Having locally grown garden flowers made the day even more special. Caroline’s attentive care and eye for detail was utterly indispensable throughout, from our first viewing of the venue, through to her excellent recommendations for local suppliers, and to the non-stop efforts she, Mark and Abi put into our wedding not only on the day, but for so many days before it. They were more than just helpful and they did so much to bring the vision we had of our dream day to life.

We had our hearts set on an outdoor ceremony in the gardens, but the weather forecasts were predicting everything from sunshine to storms for the hours we needed on the day. However, Caroline stayed calm and confident all the way through, willing to wait as long as possible for us to decide – and without her kind support, our day simply wouldn’t have been the same. The gardens are even more gorgeous than the photos can capture, Caroline’s floristry is genuinely wonderful, and the courtyard is the perfect setting for you to create your ideal wedding breakfast just the way you would like it – but more than all this, what we couldn’t have realised when we booked to get married here was just how brilliant and invaluable a team we were getting to join us to make our dreams come true.

To anyone liking the look of the photos and these reviews, we’d really recommend booking a viewing to actually see the gardens and meet Caroline yourself. We knew it was the right place for us as soon as we did – though nothing could have prepared us for just how right!

Caroline, Mark, Abi – thank you so much for making our day so perfect!

After 4 years of planning and 2 years worth of postponements due to covid, we finally were able to celebrate our wedding day here this weekend!
I don't think we can possibly think of enough words to thank Caroline, for all of her patience and hard work leading up to, and including the day. Nothing was too much trouble for either Caroline or Mark. The venue is absolutely breathtaking and although we decided to decorate heavily with florals, the venue is stunning even empty, and the grounds are beautifully maintained and cared for, it was our photographer and videographers dream venue with multiple places to shoot! We also loved that the venue was intimate and that there hadn't been hundreds of people married there before, making it feel very exclusive and more special.
We can't recommend the venue enough, the whole process from start to finish, was a dream come true. Thankyou so much Caroline and Mark.

Our wedding at Swanton Morley house and gardens was absolutely perfect, and a large part of that is owed to Caroline and Mark and their stunning venue. From the moment we set eyes on this venue we knew it was the one for us. Not only is it stunning but Caroline made us feel very welcome and at ease. Her knowledge and expertise greatly helped us right from the start, and her and Mark went above and beyond to make our day perfect when one of our key suppliers let us down. For that I’ll never be able to thank them enough! Our guests were so complimentary of the venue, saying how stunning it was and lovely to have all the different areas and touches - perfect for gorgeous photos no matter the weather! We were able to set up the day before our big day and nothing was too much of an ask. On the day Caroline and mark didn’t stop doing everything to help our day run without a hitch, and it showed. Everything was perfect. A massive thank you from us! And to anyone thinking of booking here, do it you won’t be disappointed!

Swanton Morley House and Gardens is an absolutely beautiful venue with an incredibly supportive owner, who made sure that everything went smoothly on our wedding day. She gave great advice and helped us with planning the wedding. We are blessed to have found this venue and would recommend it to anyone looking for a small to medium sized intimate wedding.

We cannot quite express how thankful we are that we chose Swanton Morley House as our wedding venue. It was beyond anything we could have hoped for. Caroline and her family are so lovely and made all aspects of the before, during and after of wedding planning an absolute pleasure. We were blown away by the beautiful gardens where we were lucky enough to have our ceremony, and the courtyard and rooms provided the perfect setting for wedding breakfast and celebrations into the evening.

Caroline also provided our flowers which were stunning and exactly what we had hoped for. We had the best day and would not have wanted it anywhere else.

We got married at Swanton Morley House and Gardens in August 2019 and from the moment we arrived at the viewing, we knew it was the place we wanted to get married. Lots of our guests commented on the stunning grounds and beautiful ceremony room. Both in the lead up and on the day, Caroline was amazing and her lovely family were so supportive in helping us to set up the day before. We had the most incredible wedding day and would highly recommend this venue to anybody who is looking for the perfect place to get married.

We got married at Swanton Morley House and cannot thank Caroline and the team enough for helping us have the most amazing day. The venue and the grounds are stunning and an amazing place to have your wedding day. They let us plan the day we wanted and personalise the venue to truly make it unique to us and reflect us as a couple. They made sure everything ran seamlessly and I can not recommend them enough.

I don't even know where to start in order to say how happy we were to get married at SMH&G! When we first visited we fell in love with the venue and Caroline made us feel so welcome. We originally booked for 2020 but covid threw a spanner in the words, however Caroline was absolutely amazing in helping us navigate postponements and was so kind towards us in an emotional time!

Caroline is so helpful, organised and goes above and beyond! The venue itself is stunning and is an absolute gem in the heart of Norfolk that has something for everyone. We loved everything about our wedding at SMH&G and can't thank Caroline and her lovely family enough for all the help they gave us in not only the run up to the wedding but the day of and the day after. A truly special place and an experience we'll never forget for all the right reasons!
