A fab escape from the noise and hustle and bustle of busy life. A slice of Welsh heaven, quiet with stunning views everywhere you turn and look. Quiet and filled with nature. Expect to see plenty of stunning Red kites, sheep and cows. Stella does a great job of looking after everyone and everything. We love it and look forward to every visit.

Had a very wet weekend camping here, but the showers and the shower rooms were lovely and warm, so easy to warm up. The third time I have stayed. The people are great and the location peaceful. Will be back

Good campsite with nice clean facilities. Campsite field is on a slight hill but nothing to worry about. If you're lucky and the sky is clear you can see the stars. Showers could have done with a bench and toilets having hooks on the door, other than that; perfect.

Great location - we camped on the 'wild' field which was a bit exposed to the unusual North Easterly wind we had all week end of May, but the surrounding countryside is great -all the better for not being a popular spot like Snowdonia or Pembrokeshire -you can walk here and not pass a single person all day, so peaceful I felt guilty bringing my children! Radnor forest is great and the area around Llandegley is stunning, despite the wind turbines (wondering why they couldn't be put instead on the featureless plateau of Black mixen?) Stella is helpful and friendly - spent many memorable moments watching buzzards and red kites - also a hike up Whimble is recommended and nearby Builth Wells and Kington are lovely towns - if the beautiful Harley Dingle wasn't a weapons testing range, then perhaps the area would be more marketable to tourists - but maybe it's a good thing it's that way!

It's a fantastic place to stay whether you rent a van or camp!The views are amazing and it's a really well run site which will only get better,we've already booked for next year ????

First time visit and it's great. Wonderful views of the hills all around. Continously looking to the sky at the Red Kite.

Last minute decision but glad we found this site.
Working Farm with Static Caravans and Touring pitches
Grass Pitch with EHU £20, no silly extra charges for Dogs or awnings.
Showers amazing, very clean.
Location with fantastic views of mid Wales Countryside.
Pub 5 minutes walk away
