I recently visited The Spa at Palazzo Versace with my wife for a couple's massage called "Love is..." Unfortunately, our overall experience was not very pleasant, and I feel compelled to share my honest feedback.
Upon arrival, we were asked to fill out the usual spa form, where we indicated our preference for deep tissue and hard pressure massages. We clearly mentioned that we were seeking a stress-release massage, not just a relaxation or "me time" experience. However, during the massage, my wife felt that her therapist was not very skilled. Despite requesting more pressure, the therapist's technique remained at a medium level, which was disappointing.
Furthermore, we also tried some additional services like facials and a hair oil treatment, but we did not notice any significant benefits from these treatments. To be honest, if we had performed these treatments at home, we might have achieved better results and felt a more noticeable difference.
Moreover, the body scrubbing experience at The Spa at Palazzo Versace fell short of our expectations. In other places we have visited, the body scrubbing felt invigorating and left us with a clean, refreshed sensation. However, during our visit here, the body scrubbing did not provide the same level of exfoliation and cleansing.
To make matters worse, it has been two days since our visit, and I am actually feeling worse than before. I had initially come to the spa with overall body pain and fatigue, which had slightly improved on the day of the treatment. However, after the massage, my pain intensified, particularly in my neck, back, and legs. I cannot pinpoint the exact cause, but I definitely felt worse immediately after the treatment.
Furthermore, I would like to mention that the price we paid for the services was quite high, which naturally raised our expectations. Given the cost, we expected a premium experience, but unfortunately, it did not live up to our expectations.
Additionally, after the treatment, we were given some time to use the jacuzzi. However, we found that the water in the jacuzzi was not warm enough, and the water pressure was disappointingly low. This further detracted from our overall experience and left us feeling dissatisfied.
In conclusion, our experience at The Spa at Palazzo Versace was not up to par. The massage therapists' skills were lacking, the additional services did not yield noticeable benefits, and the body scrubbing fell short of expectations. Most concerning is the fact that I experienced increased pain and discomfort following the treatment. Moreover, considering the high price we paid, our disappointment is amplified. Lastly, the inadequate warmth of the jacuzzi water and low water pressure added to our dissatisfaction.
