Misleading information , poor service , they said it's a three bedroom apartment for 6 adults but it was 2 bedrooms and maid's room with 2 levels bed for kids, will never come back to this place

As a lot of people have said, trying to get an appointment is ridiculous! More phone lines and more reception staff would be great. Also, the app working would be fantastic. Have to phone on the day, but can't get through.. How's that work for people with mental health issues? Just makes us worse. Also, last doc didn't seem interested because I smoke... again ridiculous.

Can't book an appointment. You have to ring at 8am. That's no good to me when I work day/night shifts. Terrible system in place. Please please change this system so I can make an appointment in advance for my days off !

I've never had any issues with the receptionists or any of the staff there, plus the doctors I frequent have always been nothing but a godsend.

The only reason I'm giving it such a low rating is that the ability to book an appointment is just non existent. The phones are always locked solid or say they can't put me through, by the time you do eventually get to someone all the appointments are gone and the mygp app is good for repeat prescriptions and that's it.

Unfortunately, arranging an appointment at Lower Medical Centre is only possible by ringing repeatedly after 8am ( you'll get through after 10 mins and be caller #14 in a queue ). It will take you a good 20-25 minutes before you speak with anyone, so plan ahead your time. On a brighter note, the centre itself is clean, staff are friendly and the check-in tablet ensures no awkward queue at the front door.

I want to start by saying that I find all the staff fantastic in this surgery but the system they are being forced to work with is unsatisfactory. The only current option for an appointment is to ring on the day at 8am. I normally start work at 830, so cannot work with this system but I was on annual leave today. I made 125 calls and finally was placed in a queue at 9am where I waited for 35 minutes. I was offered a telephone consultation which met my needs. The surgery could really do with some kind of online in advance booking, I was happy to wait for my appointment but I understand that they don’t want to book too far in advance because of thoughtless people not turning up. I don’t know what the answer is but I really feel for the staff.

Terrible is the only word to describe this place. Absolutely no chance of even talking to reception. It's the state of the NHS but even after queuing on the phone for 18 mins 6 mins of the phone actually ringing surely someone can answer. Everyone is

Would have been a 5 but I am disappointed in the lack of organisation for the vaccine jabs at the surgery. I attended early and their was no set up what so ever and I was directed out side by a volunteer to flat walks for my second jab.

Went back in and suddenly their was a set up were as when i arrived 15 mins early their was nothing and no sign outside saying Lowther medical vaccinations. Now I have been rife with anxiety about my records showing both doses and their were probably others as well that had the same issue. Even went to speak to the receptionist they were confused and were struggling to see I had both doses as the card hand writing and a sticker disappointing. Thankfully rang a number that said not to worry and my GP surgery will show up when the record is put in the system

Other than this issue I do think they do a good job under difficult circumstances and have had no issues with anything including the repeat prescriptions. On top of Tony walker is an exceptional asset to them with a massive caring heart.

It took forever to get an appointment before lockdown and even when I did for my mental health or chronic pain the doctors barely listened.
Now it's lockdown again and my mental health has absolutely plummeted yet I still can't make an appointment and even the online services are faulty. The my GP app doesn't work, and the consultation form I filled out with the hopes of recieving a phone call "within two working days" was completely ignored. A completely unreliable gp that don't seem to care for their patients :/.
