Disgusting, charged £19.50 for 4 small 30ml nivea sun tan lotions. When I nearly fell over at the price (my friend was purchasing) I said to the lady serving 'my goodness how much' and she said 'this is the airport', I told her that did not make it right. The rude lady then told my friend to plan better. What a piece of work!! And where does WHSmith get off ripping people off like that!

Typical WH Smith store with wide selection of bestsellers, new releases and pre-UK airport only releases. Those categories are always well stocked here.

If you are after a book that isn’t relatively new or not by a best selling author then you may be disappointed.

Shops also sells gifts, chocolates and sweets.

There is the obvious captive audience, the increased business overheads, the prime location factors which drive this WHSmith to be the most expensive shop in Britain, and I fully support any business taking advantage of customers stupid enough to believe that big packets of sweets are cheaper at the airport. But WHSmith has made every product in its airport stores which threaten to hydrate, fuel or sate any customer so unbelievably expensive and tied into offputting offers that most of those customers will never purchase any product.

I wanted a bag of sweets or a chocolate bar, plus some water. The water was obviously more expensive than buying the same water from the overpriced wetherspoons, and that was even if you bought it as part of the two for £6 offer.

The sweets were £3.99 for a smaller than supermarket packet of haribo or buy three for two on £9.99 bags of haribo. No one is ever going to pay £4 for a small bag of haribo and no one wants to spend £20 on £10 worth of haribo... so I left empty handed. If WHSmith were smart they'd have priced the big bags of haribo at £6.50, still the same ridiculous price as before but people don't have to buy three bags.

If WHSmith weren't so hostile with their offers or pricing people might be willing spend the ridiculous prices.

Found out once on-board my flight that the food and drink on-board was cheaper!!

Good selection but very expensive. Nearly £3 for a standard bottle of water. Everything more expensive by day then your local supermarket. Best to get water from the airport duty free or take all empty bottle through security to fill up.

Aaaaaa i want to cry never in my life have i felt so sad and descusted by a brownie and a tuna sandwitch the tuna sandwitch had the texture of an already chewd tuna sandwich the taste was bland and thats putting it nicley
Back to the brownie the brouwnie was enicially bland and then pow! Chicken flavouring i was utterly confused at fistand got my friend to try it he too said it tasted like chicken now my final issue is that i was told all my items would be classed as a meal deal however i went to the till and was hit with the horrific price of 8 pound for a energy drink a soggy sandwitch and a chicken brownie

Bought a chicken and bacon caesar wrap. £4.19. It was nearly entirely 'wrap' and then a very thin spread of filling. Gloopy, miserly and just appalling value. I know it's an airport and they charge what they want, but they simply don't care.

I Purchased a periodical monthly magazine on 31st March 2023, I didn't have my glasses on, so some degree of my fault, but who would expect to pick up a monthly magazine for January which came out mid December ? Doesn't anyone there remove out of date magazines ??
