Its a short and easy hike. There is trail to follow. Good for beginners and even for kids :) Elevation is not too much.

We didn't complete the trail, i hope to do it shortly.
A good parking space is available, ni issues if more cars come.

Nice trail. A little bit challenging to climb but not too difficult. Done with wife and 10 and 8 year old daughter.

1st check point after walking for about 1 1/2 hour from Edale car park.

The trail will continue to Kinder Low, Kinder Scout, Grindslow Knoll and back to Edale car park. About 7 hours walk with lots of stops for enjoying the views.

Oh, this is a real beauty. Worth every effort, and I have to admit it was not easy, as I am not in shape anymore lol. Most of the path is well maintained, although some part of it is rocky, so need to be careful. If you are not in shape, but like to challenge yourself, this is the place. Once up the heel, you can choose different paths, depending on your destination. My offline map did not work (or I don't know how to use it lol), but with a bit of common sense, I arrived at Edale Moors. From there descending was a bit painful for my knees, but the whole hike was so rewarding that I forgot about the pain.
Planning to come back soon and get to kinder scout. Hoping for better weather next time

What an amazing walk as someone that is only relatively fit I managed to walk this path with just one or two mini breaks. Ensure you take yourself a snack and some water to maintain hydration and have a map for navigation if you plan on treking around the plateau as it is large and it can be disorientating.

DEFINITELY worth the trip to capture the views of the Valley and the look over to Derbyshire and Manchester.

A pretty good walk but not if you're bad on your legs. The actual Jacobs ladder will certainly get your heart pumping. The views are stunning as you would expect in this area. Be aware that it is often a lot windier on the top compared to down where Edale is. It is also quite busy, In fact busier than I expected. We saw people of all ages from little kids to retired people. Well worth the walk though if the weather is decent.

Heard alot about this challenge walk.
We were on a 8 mile walk amd came back around and down this ladder, wasnt massively hard but wasnt easiest due to rocks and pebbled steps created.

But if going up it does look abit hard especially not for a newbie walker
