Crinan is a beautiful little village at the west end of the Crinan Canal. It has good facilities and some interesting points of interest regarding the canal itself. We visited by bike early in the season but I can imagine it gets busy in the summer.

It's a swing bridge in the middle of some remote and beautiful western Scotland scenery. We got to see it being opened which was nice.
