Service isn’t very good. Will actively avoid booking reward nights or points to your Marriott account. I’ve had to chase support several times, relating to two separate stays.

Location is fine if you’re at the Excel, DLR station is close by too. Good for viewing planes if you like that sort of thing.

I have been here on a solo business trip. Rooms are okay but I was expecting way better considering that this hotel is part of the Marriott group. I think it would be desiderable to have a phone in the room. Also no safe was provided in the room and no iron. Breakfast was okay but tables were often greasy.

It's not a bad hotel for a layover. We were staying for a concert at Twickenham. Check-in was swift. But not offered the complimentary cocktail on arrival (though it may not be offered here). Bar service was incredibly slow at time. Having to repeat and confirm my order on multiple occasions for each bar order.

Came with a host of problems with my booking. All of which they have resolved. Staff were lovely and helpful. Clean tidy room. Standard hotel stuff their but worth the stay for nice staff. Also, they have a pool table and a 24 hr bar.

It is convenient for the airport and Excel but not really for much else, and I didn't need either. It's a reasonable price hotel, very clean, very friendly staff, very welcoming all around. Room a bit small. Breakfast is okay. 13 minutes to the Elizabeth line, 3 minutes to DLR.

I would recommend if your next trip is from city airport or you are attending an exhibition.

Rooms are comfy. Location is okay, might be a bit loud due to the presence of an airport nearby. Breakfast selection was mediocre, the second day of our stay there were less products displayed; asked for bagels, the staff member said there are none without checking, the other restocked them and hour later - all products during breakfast time should be available. The pastries turned out raw inside and there was mold on the crest fruit, did not hear a single word of an apology from the manager.

Very enjoyable stay. Great room. Lovely view over docks. Location loses one star as quite far out but transport links to and from are excellent. Step up from competitors.

OUR STAY AT MOXY HOTEL ECXEL DOCKLANDS - PARK AT THIS HOTEL AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
My husband and I stayed at this hotel on 26/04/23 while I was on a course at Excel.
The hotel was recommended to us by Marriott at Silvertown because they were overbooked on that day. Unfortunately our car was stolen during our overnight stay despite assurance of CCTV and security patrols in place. To add salt to injury, they claimed the cctv could not record the theft because it was not under its radar. Response from the staff and their attitude was very unsupportive. We were told it is not the first time such a theft has happened. It is a shame that such a modern hotel in a good location should have such a record. One need to take extra precautions if you intend to stay at this hotel because security is an issue at their car park.
