We've been bringing our dogs here for years, and the clinical team has been nothing short of astounding when we've needed them, so I will continue to do so. Sadly today, an encounter with a downright rude receptionist has let them down. The lady on the desk could not have been more scathing or condescending if she had tried. Can I suggest that if the practice has 'reactive' dogs in for an appointment, they make provision for this? Furthermore, if those dogs are the problem, the snide comments should be directed to their owners, not the owners sitting on the opposite side of the room when the issue arises. I would suggest that a member of management has a word with this woman so this doesn't happen again.

Drake Vets have been fantastic this past year while handling my Bengal cat Pixel with myeloma. They have worked with cancer specialists when needed and provided great care, allowing me access when Pixel was in for days.

Great staff, helpful, informative and pleasant. I took my kitten here as it was recommended by a neighbor. They do a kitten package which I paid £140 for and it includes first and secondary jabs, monthly deworming, spaying and microchipping.

Neutered and chipped my four month old kitten. I was quite nervous but he’s recovered so quickly and well, the staff were all friendly. Just so glad that my little boy is back to his normal self so fast!

Check them out for yourself they were going to charge my poor mum £400 to put down her beloved cat down they should be there for compassion not a money making exercise at the upset of pet owners my mum is in floods of tears seeing her cat go through a painful death because of vet can't be bothered to help her

Lovely vets. They did everything they could to try and save our dog last year. Unfortunately is wasn't to be but they were extremely kind to her and us.

I previously positively reviewed Drake Vets not long after adopting my dog and felt it was worth updating. I've been a customer of this practice for nearly two years now and couldn't imagine using another practice. Every single staff member we've interacted with has been incredibly friendly, and skilled at their job.

We initially chose Drake Vets as we heard they were Sighthound savvy which is important due to their physiological differences compared to other dogs. Not only do the vets clearly understand the unique needs of the breed group, but they have been incredibly understanding of my dogs reactivity towards other dogs, and have always managed to accommodate us and other owners without any unnecessary stress.

Hopefully we will continue to use the practice for many years to come! It's worth noting that their prices are more than fair, and they have always been happy to help us find ways to save money when possible, or file insurance claims to Pet Plan on our behalf.

Had to have our dog put down a few months ago. Obviously very sad experience but the vets were professional and compassionate. They came out for a home visit within an hour of phoning, procedure was totally painless, doggo was licking butter and getting cuddles by us until the end.
