This is a very nice campsite. With even and clean ground for great camping experience. The staff was very friendly and answered all questions. They have a nice store with good prices and all necessary things to stock up again. The on site bar was amazing after a long day hike. Great variety of beer and good pub food! Please keep it up you are doing a great job!!

A fantastic campsite with superb facilities. First time I've ever been there, but I will definitely come back again. The pizza from the bar / food area was top notch. Only downsides were the midges and rain, neither the fault of the campsite ????. Loved it.

Drove past this place twice. Tiny entrance then over tiny bridge. Guy with Viking beard was a legend thank you. Ground was soggy, midges out of control. Head nets available and everything in shop what a god send. Very nice pub and facilities we had a great visit. On our camping tour so stayed two nights. Loads of hikers from the west highland way. Great location to explore Loch Lomand. Extremely recommended for everyone.

Excellent location on the WHW (you have to walk through it) and surrounded by other fantastic walks. Staff were very informative and welcoming, from shop keeper, cooks, bar staff, etc. The shop stocks all sorts to support your adventures. I had a hit to myself which was a treat ! Highly recommend !

Great location right on the WHW. We received a very warm welcome and staff were so nice. Spacious campsite with a great view. The pub/bar was excellent with a great range of beers and food, nice music and atmosphere. The bathrooms were a bit basic. There were lots of midges which cannot be helped but be prepared!

Camped here on our End to End walk in May 2023. Plenty of space, good clean facilities, very useful shop and tasty bar meals. Staff were attentive and friendly. Great concept for supporting the West Highland way.

I’m sitting in the busy bar as I write this.
I’ve pitched my tent, it was £12 for the pitch. Hot shower included, which was great, washed some clothes too! Lots of hot water, no worries!
My tent pitch was on well looked after grass which was level. Bonus!
They also have a bar, the Stagger Inn, lol! Well, this is great after 3 days of tough hiking along Loch Lomond.
I’m enjoying a few drinks, charging my batteries and about to have the Loch Logan’s pie with Haggis! Yummy.
The staff have been lovely, helpful and chatty.
So nice, please keep it up!

Update. the food was amazing! After 3 days of freeze dried hiking food this was much needed and a generous portion.

They also have a well stocked camp shop, very fair prices.

We went to the bar for food. Newly opened, it had a wide ranging menu full of hikers favourites. Lovely staff and a nice atmosphere.

They also do a doggy menu for your four legged friends.

A great hikers rest spot on the west highland way.
