Lovely lake and surrounding park land.
Car parking is relatively inexpensive but there seem to be only 2 paystaions for what is a substantial area. There was a queue to pay, even late on in the day.
Lots of activities for all ages....or just a walk around the lake.

Beautiful place plenty parking registration recognition for parking. Cafe few crafty shops toilets sheltered eating for outside indoor seating food decent prices. Ice cream man bit expensive. Lovely walk has different graded walks. Can buy food for the ducks. Has an online pub and food. Skiing boats cannos . Gets really busy in good weather. Make sure you take your sun screen. Lots of space for picnics/barbecues. Well worth a visit. ❤️

Fantastic place. Gorgeous lake where you can swim, paddle, kayak, paddle board, etc. Can either hire items for an hour for £12 or you can bring your own and pay £12 for the day and use when you like but DON'T FORGET YOUR LIFE JACKETS they do not hire these out separately with your own float.
£6 for all day parking, bring a picnic or eat in the cafe - nice food.
Highly recommend ????

A lovely day out for the family.

Nice for a long walk as a couple or family with dogs or children.

Water activities were on in the summer when we went.

Parking was getting full when we arrived so arriving early in the morning is probably a good idea. Your license plate is scanned as you go in and you can pay at various places or on the way out. Contactless payments accepted.

Toilets were free but they weren’t looking great unfortunately, there was toilet roll and a working lock in the stall I went to so can’t complain too much.

There’s a cafe and a dog bakery there so there’s no need to leave for a bite to eat, there is seating outside to enjoy the sunshine.

Pram accessible in most places as there are ramps so a wheelchair user should be able to get around fairly comfortably as well.

It's a beautiful and clean place. You can have a picnic and there's a restaurant to eat. There are too many activities you can do in this park. Also you can bring your dog that they can enjoy and swim in the lake. This is our first time but we are definitely coming back.

Even on a wet, overcast day in April this was a beautiful place to take a walk, feed the ducks (they also sell duck feed at the café) and just enjoy the outdoors. There are restrooms, a couple of shops (including an awesome doggie bakery) and a café on the premises - dogs are welcome everywhere and there were quite a few!

Cooked dinner there today, nice to sit and watch nature for a while. Lots of folk there

Had a really nice walk around the lake up to the children's park ending in a picnic in the courtyard near the car park.

A really nice trip around the lake, the paths have been maintained well and the environment is well looked after.

The courtyard is great. Was slightly busy but it's what you'd expect for a Sunday.
