Let me tell you something. As a student who spent 5 years at this school, I can tell you that they really have ruined it. Tired students are unable to slouch even when work is complete. The new detention system is appalling and I have been made aware some students are unable to get food at break times now, due to there being only one line instead of the two, from when I was there last, and it therefore takes up a terrible amount of time. I have an incredible admiration for the teachers and other staff that are forced to enforce these ridiculous rules, and Who have been comfortable enough to express their opinions with students they have built professional relationships with. I hope the school gets put into the hands of somebody who REALLY thinks about their students and their well-being and doesn’t try to live up to this unhealthy and unproductive idea of some claws deep school, that just drains their students of any want to learn. There is absolutely no joy left in those poor students, especially those who have seen it’s better days and used to enjoy their school time.

I really like this school, I used to get bullied at my old schools, but everyone is nice to me at this school I love it. The teachers are exceptional and the food is divine. The sports facilities are superb high class athletes are created at this school and geniuses. Ice in the veins ????

This is the worst school ever it is absolute bad won't let any days off school even when you ask. the teachers are more like police men trying to find you guilty and are all shorter than my 10 year old brother this school only has good ratings because they change everything when people inspect i have not understood a single thing with no freedom only screaming and also this school will spoil your child pls take this seriously and try consider other school's this school rules are soo strict and if you want your child to go through depression then this is the school

As much as the school has quite a few flaws in the rules etc, it's a great school. Your children have a pass rate, in Maths and English, of approximately 85% and there is a lot of variety of subjects to choose from going into GCSE's. Not to mention the substitute for college they have called the Sixth Form.

Called themselves a business school once upon a time and now they don't even do it. Well, they did it when I was in year 7, but then they just removed it for GCSE. You'll find this at this school, you like a subject and then they'll remove it, oh except for Textiles, which 2 people do but they make sure that's on every year. Plus , for perspective, I had 8 History teachers in my first year alone, everyone of them saying they got another job in the MAT system of schools. Good to find friends as there was so many people and atleast one of them has to have the same interests as you, that is the only pro of this school. Btw, no trips, except for Hull University but whts the point.

Literally none of the teachers know how to do their jobs properly and the uniform policy is so petty!! I mean honey my brows need to be slaying all the time, including the 7 hours a day where I waste pen ink, paper, my time and my life trying to work out why Dickens used a metaphor to calculate the mass of the Sun. And that's the tea...
