A hidden little forest with a small car park but usually not crowded. 3 trails maximum is 1.5 kms. Well looked after and clean trails.

Lovely walks of different gradients. Go up then slowly walk down. Very informative tabs detailing the trees and dates. Suggest parking at the Kilmun church layby then walk up. A bit of effort with big rewards.

A beautiful spot to visit with breathtaking views. However, my trip was spoiled by a naive woman and her unrestrained dog, which she allowed to run free. Before she called the dog away, it tried to attack me, and the woman didn't have the decency to apologise. Please, dog owners, keep your dogs on a lead. No one wants to be bothered by your obnoxious dog on a good day out.
