I have recently moved both me and my son over to Madryn house surgery after continuously receiving poor healthcare from another local doctors. Since joining Madryn house all I can say is the service we have both received is greatly appreciated. The receptionists are approachable and help in anyway they can. Each time me and my son have had an appointment we have received it on the same day, we have been welcomed and seen by a nurse called Jess. Jess really has been so accommodating each time and couldn’t help enough, such a lovely lady. I would just like to say a big thank you for all of your service so far. It is nice to know that the support needed is still available.

Reception staff and the nurse on duty went out of their way to help me just before the surgery was due to close. I attended the surgery with breathing difficulties and the trained reception staff were able to identify the urgency of me being seen. The nurse on duty was very helpful and made sure I had the necessary treatment before the surgery closed for the day.
The staff at this surgery continue to go above and beyond every day to provide outstanding health care for their patients.

Used this surgery for my mother who is registered there yesterday. The whole experience was as stressless as it could be.
I did queue on the phone for an appointment for 20 minutes but that’s normal these days. The appointment was made there and then for the same day, no triage. The nurse practitioner (Jess) was lovely with my Mum and prescribed the necessary medication having given her a thorough examination. The service was first class from reception and Jess. Thank You

Always pleasant and helpful office staff. Nurses are excellent and very reassuring. Very efficient with repeat medication. Lovely surgery.

I would particularly like to give a big shout out and thank you to nurse Kelly Whitby. I was quite unwell recently and the care and treatment I received from Kelly was excellent. I felt very comfortable and relaxed in her presence. Thank you for everything Kelly

Dr Edwards was so kind and made a good diagnosis and solution by referring me for an X-ray. All Doctors and staff are wonderful. I have been with this surgery for 70 yrs apart from a short break when I lived away. Thank you for your care ❤️.

My husband had an appointment today with Nurse Aysha Lord. He had some concerns with a post surgery wound and needed confirmation that it was healing ok. Aysha was so professional and her explanation was very reassuring, she was patient and gentle when cleaning the wound and said if we had any further concerns that he shouldn’t hesitate to see her again. We would like to thank this nurse very much indeed.

I don't normally write reviews but think people are often quick to knock surgeries, so felt on this occasion I should. I phoned the surgery on behalf of my son who was traveling home from university, late during the afternoon a few Fridays ago. The receptionist was so understanding and helpful, arranging for a telephone consultation and then arranging a face to face appointment with the doctor later that day.
I have been with this surgery all my life and they have always been accommodating with appointmens when myself or my family have needed them. Credit where it's due.
