Nice wee walk, not too strenuous and always better when the sun is out. Ground wasn't too boggy, I'd recommend if it has been raining to wear a pair of wellies. Some scenery ????

Used to sail alongside this stretch of coastline and always gazed up into these hills . These hills are a layer of volcanic rock. Ontop of devonian red sandstone . You see the red sandstone at the bottom of these hills .. start from the cattle grid after the fishery turning (if coming uphill from a78) . Its like a 4x4 track and runs most of the way up . Its two hills , the path leads you across the summit of first hill and onto the bigger .
Try to do on a clear day for some island scenery arran the cumbrae isles and bute .
It was 40mph wind when i passed through on route to stevenston . Sun was out though .
