The Woman at the till in this post office, so disrespectful, and arrogant. The lack of professionalism and customer service skills was shocking. If I could give a no star rating I would. Firstly, I went in to send back a parcel, she confirmed they do not send back to the certain delivery company, so I ask can I send it independently from the post office? Her reply is yes it's going to cost you a lot of money with an attitude! So I said, well how much will it cost to send PLEASE? In a respectable manor. So She asked me to put the item on the scale, and tell me the price to send, then I said to Her thank you, She pushed my parcel towards me. I was going to tell Her off, but I hold my peace, and walk away. I only hope in good time, She would be warned about Her customer service skills, because I believe one day, She could get on the wrong side of the wrong customer.

EDIT: Beware, family members of staff are writing fake reviews.

Unfortunately, whilst the staff try, I don't think they are able to cope with the demands of being a Post Office. The shop is absolutely tiny and often full of non social-distanced queues which stretch outside of the store. This is also primarily a newsagents so there's customers for the newsagents, money withdrawal and post office all in one tiny space. Staff are not trained well at all and are not aware of the different postage types or what to do if something goes wrong.

They also aren't good at managing customers or queues, once asking me to step aside whilst they served a woman in the queue behind me because I had a large number of items to send. Very unprofessional if you ask me and totally wouldn't happen in a regular Post Office.

I send parcels regularly, but now have switched to using Morrisons Hermes lockers because it's cheaper and there's no queues.

I hope some day we can have a dedicated post office in South Walsall again.

Majority of their 1 star reviews are mainly due to its post office, no one's talking about their store . They have got plenty of stock with fair prices and good customer service. Will shop their in future as well.

If a post office is open inside of a shop, it should have an actual postal worker for royal mail who can work efficiently, instead of one person trying to run a shop, delivery's & stacking shelves & then trying to operate the post office, only one counter for the post office is open too not both of them, people waiting in excess of 30 mins just to withdraw money or to get a stamp? It's ridiculous & it's been the same since it opened not just since this covid situation
