The place itself is amazing, but i only rate it 3 stars because it is so so crowded and full of tourists, that you can t really enjoy it. The online reservation was a joke... the 12.30 hour we picked does not count for anything. You only use the qr code to pass through the gates where they ask it.
It was my first visit, but my sister visited 6 years ago when there where maximum 50 tourists in the location and they were able to walk trough the entire yard. Now tourist only walk in a huge line on the sides. On the day we picked there must have been literaly hundreds of tourists staying in line and walking along the columns. So advice... do not visit on weekends. ????

Al Reem Island's Jumua Masjid. To get parking, you must arrive before one hour. It is preferable to park near the entrance so that you can easily exit. When rude drivers annoy you, ignore them because of their culture and illiteracy. Make your plans ahead of time because it's very crowded and there's a line for the ablution area, let alone the toilets. Wear masks to avoid unpleasant odors and carry prayer mats.

Presently this is the only mosque in Reem island and that is a concern, especially during Juma’ah prayers with a huge crowd... another mosque, in Reem Central Park is still under construction and that should change things a little bit hopefully!
The mosque is a modern artistic marvel with shapes and designs... u hav inscribing on the outer walls. There is a huge chandelier in the central hall. The ablution and toilets r below the mosque main hall and there’s a lift too for the needy. Mosque is very neat and beautiful and u hav a certain aura around it!

One of the best masjids I have visited, located in Reem Island, Abu Dhabi.. It is the first masjid built in the Island.. Outside walls are designed with "Asma Al Husna" by highlighting "Al Aziz"..

Al Aziz mosque has an amazing architecture. Unlike most of the mosques, this mosque has a very unique geometrical design of minaret and dome. The mosque is huge and can accommodate approximately more than 2,200 people. On the outer face of the walls of the Al Aziz Mosque, 99 names of Allah are inscribed.

Time: 20/7/21. Just after Eid ul Adha prayer.

A must see!!everything is organized in details so that visitors won't have to struggle with the intense heat outdoors (there is a shuttle in the parking area and underground passage). I would recommend visiting early hours so that you won't have to wait in the very long standing lines. Everything is pre-thought for the tourist so all the needs are met pre-entry (appropriate clothing, food etc). Excellent sightseeing investment planning everywhere I've been in the UAE.

First mosque in Al Reem island, well built with good space.
The people responsible for the mosque need to sort out the parking issue during prayer time, especially during Ramadan and Friday prayers, where the chaos happens with many lanes blocked and risk of accidents increases.
