The host welcome us very politely, as we enter the ambiance was really good. The server a kabayan lady was excellent she is a big asset of the restaurant. The food was nice especially the seaweed salad. We will come back again. ????

Went for a weekday solo lunch specifically for their nigiri. Ordered the salmon, otoro, chutoro, and yellowtail nigiris. Place is quiet during lunch time but the staff are really friendly. Enjoyed the conversations I had with them.

One small note is that I ordered a handroll and the waiter decided upon himself to have it cut in half “for my convenience”, which I did not request. I was excited to eat it as it is and having it cut in half made the fresh crispy nori sheet soggy and the contents were falling apart. I suggest that next time the customer is asked for their preference before adding any such modifications to an order. Had I been asked, I would’ve refused it being cut. This was a small blip on an otherwise excellent experience.

Lots of parking available underground, with an escalator located right next to the restaurant which is very convenient particularly in the hot months.

The QR code menu and payment option is very convenient, especially when the restaurant is busy or you’re with a group that wants to split the bill.

Pricey but very high quality of sushi, with a casual ambiance that’s very welcoming. I can see it being busy for dinner time so plan ahead if you’re going in the evening. Will definitely visit again when in Abu Dhabi!

Stunning quality food, brilliant service by Marla. She was amazing, recommend us a few of the dishes and was very friendly. The food is top drawer. We ordered several dishes, our favorites were the Wagyu Nigiri, Salmon Carpaccio, Wagyu Burger and the Tempura Prawn. Ambience is very nice, quiet and intimate. Nice view to the river.

Amazing Japanese sushi. One of the best I tried. Balanced taste, perfect texture. Fatty tuna is absolutely marvelous.
Crispy tuna is nice too. And of course salmon nigiri are delicious too.

Was served by Chris who did a great job as a waitress. The food was delicious. Be sure to try the dark chocolate caramel for dessert.

-1 star for charging….32 dirhams for a 1 liter bottle of water ????

Strong runner up to Michelin team of good places.
They deliver what their promise.
Fine dine in experience with high quality ingredients and 5 star service.
Chef’s touches are evident and obvious in every bite.
A sure return place, with different type of food art every visit.
Enjoy and accept food in various types and differently cooked and pleasant presentation.

Very tasteful & fine Japanese restaurant. Everything we tried was delicious: Maki, salmon carpaccio, yellowtail carpaccio, lobster linguine, chicken, the eggplants...We were less impressed by desserts, especially the green tea tiramisu, but the vanilla creme brûlée was good. Service was on point !
