A fairly good option for a lazy weekend. This sit down brunch was more of a calm brunch, Nothing fancy! Nothing contemporary! Just home style good food and the ambience is so beautifully & aesthetically Indianized.
The highlight of the brunch is Chaat. We had all the varieties of chaats and that itself can count in as a full course lunch! Especially if you love chaats and love them prepared in a hygienic way, this is a good place to satisfy your chaat cravings !
Soups & Salads are good enough. Again nothing fancy, simple Indian style healthy salads served in right portion sizes. The seafood soup was flavor filled and yum !
Mains has good choice of fish, chicken & lamb dishes with assorted breads and biryani, however requires more flavors & quality !
Dessert platter is personalized with our name. Though a simple board of Indian sweets, this is a visual treat. However I wish it was served in a more traditional manner and without the blueberries. The berries & Chocolate along with Jalebis & Peda makes us feel lost in terms of flavors!
On an end note, I wish it was more either completely homestyle or more modern & contemporary. It’s easy to get lost with the concept and the flow from chaat to desert doesn’t fit in so well!
Having said that , Overall a fairly good one, however I wish the menu was a more innovative and items a little more flavorful in the main course! Chaats are undoubtedly flawless though!
Prices are good, with AED 169 pp it’s a great steal!

Well, You need to try Rangoli chaat corner if you love chatting over chaat with your friends and family in the evening????. There is a live counter that serves authentic Indian chaat dishes. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. EVERY DAY until 30th July
From the main menu, these are some of my favorite items; Flavorsome, healthy, and oh-so-delicious! crab shorba soup????
The Seekh Kebabs are spiced with Indian spices and topped with ooey gooey cheese. You won't believe how good these kebabs are! It's not one to be missed.
We also enjoyed this cheesy chicken tikka so much that it just melted in our mouths. I enjoyed how cheesy and yummy the taste was. Thank you, chef, for sharing this suggestion that is perfect for kids and adults alike.

No doubt the food they prepare is of superior taste, but they charge more as compared to the quantity served.

Tucked away at the end of the lobby of Rotana on Yas island, we were greeted at the entrance to do our Covid rituals of temp screening. All good!
The decor was nice with lots of colorful inverted umbrellas dotting the roof.
We were served with fried papad and two chutneys. Kids frowned as that was a downgrade from the four chutneys we are accustomed to at Asha’s. The kids always have murg makhani and naans. They were disappointed as they didn’t like it as the chicken was not tender and the taste was bland - not to their liking. And I was like are you sure guys that’s a hundred bucks for that dish.
My wife and I tried the aloo udaigiri. This was awesome - spicy and tangy. We also tried some starters like the tandoori fish which was smelly and bland inspite of the mint chutney that came along the three small pieces. Umm did they run out of fish? And why was the mint chutney not served with the papads I wondered?
The chicken chandi tikka was very sumptuous and juicy and also came in three slightly larger chunks than the fish pieces.
Finally for dessert we ordered julab jamun. We got three large hot ones which was very soft and juicy.
Will we go back, I shall leave you to guess.

The only problem that I ordered the Hara nimbu which is the chef’s signature was not nice for me and very little two tiger prawns for 85 dh is very expensive.
I don’t mind paying and normally I don’t check the food prices because for me the quality is more important than the price
