I have purchased a chair in the yas mall branch, was told it will be delivered within a couple of days. 10 days later we received a message to confirm the delivery, once confirmed for the next day no one contacted us. I called and they said the chair is now out of stock!

How is it that I purchased something and it being sold out! It makes absolutely no sense that they sold my chair to someone else.

Bad bad bad experience with West Elm.
I bought a dining table and a buffet that got delivered after 10 days and unfortunately, they both came with a defect. the delivery guy said call customer service and they will replace them for you. I called and they sent a technician to fix instead of replacing the defect items! I called back and requested a return and refund. then waited for few days and called back again and gain. Now, they said they will take them back and refund me but I still have to wait for a week until they come and take the items. This is a big hassle. Waiting for weeks for my furniture who came defected and now I have to wait for another weeks for them to to take then back and then another weeks for refund.
This is my first time with West Elm and of course the last time. I am so disappointed!!!

Horrible experience. I made an order online. West Elm confirmed delivery in 10 days. On 9th day they called saying that my item is not available anymore and they will return the money (some kind of system mistake). After 20 days I tried to go in a store and buy directly. I bought another item, it wasn't available immediately. They said they'll call in 2-3 days when they receive it. After 8 days I've called them. Same thing happened, again item wasn't available. Shame and wasted time.

So far quite a poor experience. After having waited for more than 10 days to get delivered I had the bad surprise to see that article delivered was the wrong one.

The delivery guys, on the spot, advised their colleagues about the mistake and took back the article.

No one from the supposedly "customer care service" updated me so far to apologize and update me with the next delivery date. I have no idea where is my article and if it is still available.

Well done West Elm for my first purchase with you ????

Worst Delivery service ever! This has happened to us the thrice. This store's items are one of the most expensive and their delivery service is THE WORST! Im talking through personal experience and that of friends.
The delivery people ALWAYS deliver late, deliveries are incomplete, many times the delivery guys show up random with missing furniture items. We have contacted their SO CALLED customer service a million times, only to hear generic apologies! Their delivery service is a mess and if God Forbid we ask for a refund, it takes them MONTHS to process it.
Avoid them at all cost!

I shop often at West elm in Yas mall. I have had great experience with Madan. He is always very kind and helpful. He understands your needs and makes useful suggestions throughout shopping and even with the delivery. A few times, I didn’t even go to the store, I told Madan what I wanted, he located the item, sent me a link to pay and arranged the delivery.

The only thing is, the store doesn’t hold a large supply of items and has to bring them from the warehouse. So you have to be willing to wait for a week or so to get your item.

I have honestly never experienced such horrible service at any shop before. Every day I go to this store it is honestly a nightmare. The staff are so incompetent, I came to buy a couch that was supposed to be delivered within a week but for some reason the couch was not showing in the system. They told me the price was a bit over 4000 then when they sent me the link 3 weeks after my purchase, they told me the price of the couch is 6000 and after long hours of arguing, they told me that the couch will be delivered late. Also, I ordered some things online and the return was such hassle, I was told that i either had to return ALL the products i ordered or none, i couldnt select items. Overall, I had to delay furnishing my home because of some simple items and incompetent workers. No one in shop was willing to help whatsoever. I then went to pottery barn and their service was not comparable, it was so much better, i went in and out within 10 minutes and everything was resolved, but i spent more than 40 minutes trying to return two sets of pillow cases. I dont understand how a shop this well known could have such horrible service.
