Worst service and worst airline.
I request you all to prefer other airlines before booking
Our flight was at 11:30 pm on 1 July
After getting checked in they informed about delayed to 1:30 am 2 July
Some passed the time
After 2:30 Am we called airport police than they informed flight is having problem the flight will take off at 1 pm now at 3:30 Am we are standing in the queue for exit stamp.
@Ratan Tata didn’t expect this worst service from Tata Group.
No updates of flights are getting informed prior
It was my bad that by seeing 2 bad experience faced from other still overlooked and instead of indigo I chosen this Airline
But I request you guys not to go with this Air India go with budget airlines they are far better

I'm a photographer and i use to travel alot, on 19th Sept 2021 unfortunately I booked a ticket in Air India Express as the timing was good for me.
I was travelling from DXB to COK with a allowance of 30+7. And i had my camera bag on my back with camera and 2-3 lenses And my macbook in the bag, we don't usually put the camera gears in luggage as the tings are fragile. Then after sending my luggage i got some chocolates and alcohol from the duty free and when the gates open to bus they came with a weighing machine to weigh the bags then they started weighing the laptop bag and the duty free together, which was 10kg together then they asked me to pay 300dhs which is $81 for what i bought from the duty free. They asked me to pay for the additional 3kgs or have to return the item and come back to the gate, the item which i paid 150dhs i has to pay 300dhs more to take it on the flight.
I had traveled in many airlines, never faced this issue and weighing the laptop bag.
May be the fare will be cheap comparing with other airlines, but they will surely take money from you on some other ways.

I booked a ticket for my family (5 members) on 23 May 2023 with Air India Express from DXB to CCJ(return ticket) through Al hind travels. Purchased it 1 month ago. The day after tomorrow my family is flying to Dubai. Just two days before Air India Express canceled that flight. And Al hind travels informed Air India Express that they can't reschedule the date, only a refund is possible. Moreover Al Hind informed us, Reschedule can be done for passengers by visiting directly the Air India express office.
So yesterday (29-May-2023)
went to Dubai airport terminal 2 Air India express office,
They simply (poor customer service) cannot do anything and they are given a toll-free number
trying to the toll-free from yesterday till now with no response(Wasting my valuable time).
Moreover i contacted with Sharja Air india express office , they are saying can't reschedule.
As per the rules Can’t fly without a valid return ticket. I don’t know what to do. No response from Air India express office and Call center!

At the time of ticket booking Air India express did not mention refund only possible!!! Flight cancellation is not an excuse and it is not my mistake. This is not right. I can't pay much more money because of your mistakes.

Because of this irresponsible service, my family vacation trip gave me a headache, and also no value for the money.

The least could be done is inform passengers before hand by simply putting a mail , that your flight has been delayed by 2/3 hours !!
I had old age members with me who had to first stand in a massive line for check in and then wait forever ! Super unorganized .

1. Overwhelmed with Air India Dubai Airport staffs service on 25.6.2012. The fantastic approach of the Duty Manager, Ms. Neelam, and their Team made my experience with Air India more Happy. Thank you, #AirIndia

2.overwhelmed with the service provided by the Air India counter staff on November 30, 2022.

Due to traffic, I arrived at the airport very late for 11:45 p.m. flight and I concluded will miss my flight.

But the counter staff , They made me comfortable and made traveling simple and doable even if I arrived late.

Very poor service. No web check in as site is not working and no seat selection as again site is not working.

Also not able to book wheel chair in site. Visited the office in the airport and made me to walk here and there. They don’t accept card payment for wheelchair if you have used for card payment I know Dubai you will have hard time to take the cash.

Also very poor service for just making request and taking payment for wheelchair. (Almost spent more than 30 mins to get one wheelchair for AED 170)

Terrible experience while travelling from DXB to MUM with my 1 yr old.I had requested a bassinet multiple times before travelling to the airport and even after reaching the airport, at the check in counter the attitude given for asking for a bassinet was horrible. At the end never recieved a bassinet. I travelled a 2 hr flight on the floor so my baby could sleep comfortably.

I am writing this review while sitting in Air India Flight AI 996 Dubai to New Delhi.. departure was scheduled at 12.05..now it's 12.30 and even the doors are not closed..
Still waiting for take off..My 1 year old daughter is unwell..I am somehow controlling her..
I came to Dubai via same Air India flight and was late by 45 minutes.

Do our airlines value our time?
Or we always have to travel by Emirates?
Or is this the reason Air India is cheap?

Such a beautiful and wonderfully led school!
My husband and I have been Thorpe parents now for 8 years so we have seen a few changes over that time - most of which have had an extremely positive impact and have benefitted the school and pupils.
We have two boys at the school - each of them are thriving academically and emotionally in the nurturing and positive environment which, among many other things, encourages self-discipline, respect, manners and kindness.
The opportunities afforded to the boys is fantastic - particular favourites with my boys are Forest School, swimming and the sporting events and fixtures not to mention the array of after school clubs.
It is my belief that the success of the school is down to the cohort of incredible teaching and support staff that sets the school apart from others in the area. The staff perfectly compliment the school’s ethos and this has created a community which is inclusive, caring and extremely supportive. This support is not only given to our boys as individuals but also extended to us as a family and for this we will always be so grateful.
We cannot recommend Thorpe House more highly and we are so very pleased that our boys have the opportunity to continue their academic journey at this school.

We have our boys at the school and are incredibly pleased with all aspects of life at Thorpe. The child centred approach is a huge departure from our previous experiences. The quality of teaching and professionalism are second to none, and both our sons (who have very different learning needs and styles) are thriving. The vast array of clubs, extracurricular events and sports have helped immensely to build their confidence and afford them lots of new experiences. The all-encompassing pastural care is something that has really stood out to us, making for very happy and confident boys.

We have had a wonderful experience at Thorpe House Lower School with our youngest son. It is an amazing community with caring and supportive staff, open and friendly families, and exceptionally nurturing teachers. Small class sizes mean that children of various abilities can thrive side-by-side, with learning journeys catered to help them grow and develop individually. The academic program is engaging, fun, and rigorous when it needs to be. Tantamount, the extra-curricular activities on offer are diverse and well suited to piquing and stimulating young minds. The teachers have been the bedrock for us. Each year we think we can't possibly get someone as warm, kind, considerate and attentive as the last, and yet we are pleasantly surprised each September. Mrs. Doran, the head of the lower school, leads by example and has an amazing way of connecting with the boys, who both love and respect her. We have had an overwhelmingly positive journey from day one, and cannot recommend the school more wholeheartedly.

Since joining Thorpe house school, my sons have gained so much through the school community, especially through not only academics but also the caring and nurturing environment that the school shows.
The opportunities are excellent.
Forest school and the young voices choir are activities they thoroughly enjoy.

We are delighted with the progress our son has made in the Lower School of Thorpe House, and cannot recommend it enough. It is the perfect setting for young boys to grow, learn and fulfil their academic and social potential.

The school strives for excellence and offers a wide range of extra curricular opportunities, whilst still maintaining a cosy, friendly ‘family’ feel. The boys are nurtured, encouraged and challenged academically, but also learn important life skills such as communication, self-awareness, responsibility and empathy.

The staff we have met are all very caring and supportive. They understand the unique needs of every child and adapt their teaching accordingly, whilst still building cohesion within the school. The school values it’s history and traditions, yet has a modern curriculum and teaching style, which means boys are well prepared for life in a rapidly changing world.

Thorpe House offers the well-rounded education that we wanted for our son, and we are so glad we found it!

I have my two sons here and am ever so grateful for it: they are academically and socially flourishing greatly. Teachers are caring and to the point! Staff so polite and helpful. Facilities are good and often being improved. What else?

Thorpe House School must be the best school in the whole country in my opinion! Academic attainment is excellent but most importantly it provides an extremely caring and nurturing environment that feels more like a family than a school. The teachers at this school are what set it apart from all other schools. They are simply incredible and you could not wish for anything more. They genuinely care about their students and work very hard to help them succeed. Mr Ayres is doing an excellent job as headmaster too.

Anyone who goes or has been to Thorpe is very lucky to have experienced education at its best! I will certainly cherish my memories of my time at Thorpe for the rest of my life!

I whole heartedly recommend Thorpe House to any parent who wants the best for their son.

Such a shame to read negative comments about Thorpe. Our son is thriving at the school and we only have positive things to say about the teachers, boys and Headmaster. Keep doing what you are doing! The boys are happy and achieving brilliantly!!
