My brother and I were waiting for our flight to India and decided to grab a few drinks. It was already 2 am, so we didn't try any food.

The atmosphere was welcoming, and we had a great time sitting and chatting. We saw people enjoying their drinks, sipping coffee, and even working on their laptops. It felt relaxing and comfortable, a nice change from the regular waiting area.

Choosing to hang out at Jones the Grocer Express was a good decision. The drinks were good, and the staff was attentive. We had a relaxing time, and it made our wait much more enjoyable.

Overall, I would recommend Jones the Grocer Express in Dubai Airport Terminal 2. Whether you want a drink, a snack, or a quiet spot to unwind, this place has it all. The pleasant atmosphere will make your time here delightful.

Next time you're at Terminal 2, give Jones the Grocer Express a try. You won't be disappointed!

Hung out at the Jones at the Dubai airport during a 4hr layover. The ambience was great and welcoming. The smoothie was great and fresh and the pistachio flavour cream in the croissant was so yummy.

No sign to say where the line starts.
Cashier (Hadi) talked to airport staff he knew and can see that I was waiting to order. After 2 mins he then tells me the line is at the other side.
Waited for my latte to be made. Barista (Amparo) was taking her time to talk with customer and look for lids (2mins) whilst line for coffee/tea was building up to 5 people behind me. No sense of awareness or urgency on both of them.
Finally another co worker came to help. And made 4 other people’s drink that was after me.
Cashier and barista needs training.
But Willi (clearance guy)was fantastic.

Many other bad reviews because of consistent bad service. Avoid at all cost!

I found the place while walking in the airport, and I had a cup of coffee with me. I decided to sit down because I wanted to get a sandwich when I was done with the coffee, it was almost finished. Then came a waiter and started yelling at me to order or leave and that Starbucks is not allowed in here! He was very rude, and unprofessional! I told him to relax and that I was gonna order soon, but he insisted that I do it on the spot, he said: do it now! He was bald and had an Egyptian accent. He was very unprofessional, and he should not be treating any customer this way and specially travellers that have been flying for hours and tired!

Staff was really lovely, food was good.
What killed me was the fact that a tuna sandwich to go was packed on a paper bag that's not liquid proof!!!
I placed it in my handbag to eat on the flight and it leaked all over my suede handbag. My bag was covered in tuna juice, which I had tried to clean on-board the flight, but seriously, I'm on vacation, it's my only handbag, it's been 3 days and it still smell like tuna.
Jones' management, do advise your clients about this or change your packaging! That's absolutely unacceptable. My handbag is stained and smells, and I don't think this can be fixed. You just lost a client and I will tell this to everyone I know.

The least crowded spot in this overcrowded terminal. The coffee and sandwiches are ok but the prices are quite high... who knows, maybe a blessing in disguise.
