I bought two items (one sofa and one marble table) for over 40k aed. The sofa came but the team did not assemble any metal parts of it, just left the box behind them and left.
The marble table came, damaged. I asked for a refund & a team of theirs was supposed to come and take it on Saturday. I canceled plans of my day to ensure I would be home: the people who came had no clues it was a marble table & were therefore unable to take it. The customer support was unable to find me. I had to go through hoop and loops to get ahold of anyone who kept telling me that “they’ll look into it”.
I am still waiting for the marble table to be picked up and for my refund. Needless to say, I won’t be buying anything from CB2 anytime soon & I advise everyone to do the same.

Update: The product was delivered the next day and the reassigned delivery team was very good. Product quality is great as well. Thank you.

On the other hand, there is a ton of issues with this store.
1. As you probably should, do not buy anything unless you are 100% sure about it. So probably limit to small household items like utensils. Why? Incase you need to return it, they will make it seem like it’s impossible to return anything. Please note they don’t have final sale policy. They are just uncomfortable with the idea or don’t like to put in the effort like every other store. (Sad considering there’s a bit of a premium on their products in uae) Or maybe they have compromised sales people with an unaligned incentives. The pick up will be painful to arrange and will try to push the return eligibility period as much as possible.
2. If you do have a refund, then you might as well forget about it. If you work in the UAE, you would know that there is no retail store that takes more than a month to issue a refund, why? Its not that complicated. Worst case a month if there are changes in bank details or if it is big store with ridiculous inventory for larger items. That is not the case with CB2. The front office claims they don’t know what is going on and pretend it is such a complicated matter for them (which is sad). They took more than 2 months to issue a refund and it still not resolved because there are some supposed unknown forces holding the refund back in their back office :( what a shame for such a pretty store who have some good products some time.
Needless to say, I would recommend checking some other stores with similar/even better quality products at better price points and for which you can get good local service within same category. For example;
1. The loom collection (furniture)
2. Zara home (kitchenware and utencils)
3. Westelm (midcentury furniture)
4. Bloomr (planters and garden)
4. Muji (solid wood furniture)

I asked them regardless of the reason, it is damaged and should offer a solution to fix the issue because I cannot use the chair.
They just keep on saying it is misusage and they cannot do anything about it!!
The worst customer service ever!!!
