This chippy got recommended to me ages ago so was on the way home from truro and popped in, I had fish and chips mum had kids fish and chips. Went back tonight ( Tuesday ) had the same again and it was perfectly cooked and tasty, so probably be every Tuesday treat now

THE BEST FISH AND CHIPS AROUND. Girls are lovely and very experienced. Friendly and quick service. Not a bad batch in over 15 years.

Thoroughly enjoyed our fish & chips. Variety of fish, cod, plaice & haddock. Staff very friendly.

Well what a delightful find!!!
Excellent chip shop…. The best mushy peas we have had in a long time, proper chips that were not too salty or soggy… lovely crispy batter and the fish was fresh and tasty and all at a very reasonable and sensible price we will definitely be back!!!

Was a little disappointed with first entering the shop, was asked what I wanted when there was a few people already in there. I went to pay only for the lady to serve someone else. When my order was eventually ready I went to pay to be told it was cash only, I didn't have enough as I don't carry cash but they helped me our with the shortfall. Didn't really rate the food as I had cheesy chips and there was hardly any cheese and they were stuck to the paper. We called in by chance and wouldn't return in a hurry

Fast, efficient service. Lovely fish, great chips, peas a bit tasteless. Thin nice batter. Scampi chunky and juicy. Great portion sizes. Frying oil had a slightly unusual taste for us. Edit: we suspect it might be beef dripping which we're not used to but full marks for authenticity if it is.

I found this chip shop by mistake and wish I had not bothered. Attendants in shop didn’t even speak or smile when I walked into an empty shop. After about 5 mins they asked me if I had ordered and I was then served. Chips were hard and horrible. Worst chips I have ever had.

Not bad chippy was very slow at serving as they only allow 2 in the shop at one time and could of been a little more friendly my other half liked hers I wasn't really a fan as most of my chips were the scrappy ones and they warm up some of the sides (beans, peas curry sauce) in the microwave instead of having them in a heated bowl like most chip shops
