The place is nice, it has a fountain view and the staff is very welcoming and helpful. The food is okay but very overpriced. Paella is more under junk-food category and doesn’t give any authenticity. But after a month of eating tasteless Dubai food you’ll say it’s delicious. Crème brûlée was grainy and rubbery. Strawberry mojito tasted like they only put syrup in it.

We came to Hook & Cook for dinner, and the experience left me delighted.

-The interior is very interesting and thematic of a fishing dock.
-The staff were really friendly and helpful with picking the food; what was especially good is that they knew the ingredients of the food without needing to check, which was especially nice.
-The food itself was an example of how seafood should be made. We ordered fish and chips, and grilled shrimps with cheese and various spices. The food was presentable, and the spices were put in an amount that would have their taste without blocking the taste of the seafood itself. All of it was tender, succulent and delightful.
-another good advantage is that this place has a good selection of entertainer-applicable foods.

I absolutely enjoyed the meal I had here! Tasty, savory, you can feel the blend of the flavors. I had the Southern style seafood boil.

Servers were nice and friendly! Overall: a flavorfully beautiful dining experience!

Special Thanks to Stanley who manage the place in 7 stars service and both of the chef and head of the chef who made the special sea food ever in worldwide.

Upon walking in, we were welcomed by a kind, smiling staff and a beautiful, costal themed interior. The staff immediately guided us to a table and gave all 4 of us digital menus. The menu had images for each food and all of it looked very appetizing and appealing. We ended up getting Seafood Linguine, Fish and Chips, Beef Sliders and Grilled Shrimp. All of it was very delicious and had beautiful presentation. We greatly enjoyed our meals which was also accompanied by tvs and music. All of the staff was very kind but someone who stood out to us was the manager Stanley. He was very helpful and professional and accompanied to all of our needs. When we finished Stanley brought us a really cool towel setup to clean our hands with. Overall, we greatly enjoyed coming here and dining and we would definitely come again and tell our friends about it!!! Thank you Hook&Cook.

Located at the point,

Its the best seafood restaurant ive ever had!!!

Honestly I cant describe how good the meal was

The paella is highly recommended and its for two. The variety of seafood served in this dish is amazing!

The teriyaki salmon and noodles is also on another level!

The salad portion is not enough they should consider on changing the portions served!

The service was amazing

Overall it was a very good experience and I highly recommend this restaurant

Superb place and excellent food! The Manager was lovely and got us a lovely table. The fountains were superb! One of the best lobster bisques around! Definitely going back!

Not often I write anything with this level of praise but dinner here was a comprehensive experience in hospitality. From the minute we walked in, the service was impeccable. The food was extremely high quality and on point taste wise. Tried the scampi pasta, the crusted salmon, the fisherman's pie and the fish tacos and every single dish was unanimously agreed as excellent.

The deserts proved equally popular with the cardamon creme brulle and the coconut pie.

This restaurant is really worth the jaunt to the Pointe and the slightly maze like route to find it. Strongly recommended!!
