Mashreq Bank's customer services quality is extremely bad. On May 31th I made a wire transfer overseas and it never reached the beneficiary. I requested Mashreq to produce an M103 form and it was clear that Mashreq bank indicated a wrong SWIFT code of the receiving bank. Then, Mashreq went mute and did not respond to multiple complaints and even when a customer service called me back - they had no clue about the problem as they did not bother finding out about the situation internally to I had to explain them again and again. The customer relationship office Umair never provided any proper feedback. It is a basic feature of a bank - exercising international wires. Now it is the bank's duty to recall the transfer and they are not doing it. 2 months passed by now and nothing as been done. I am stopping any service with Mashreq bank and i instructed by employer to remit the salary into a different bank. STAY AWAY FROM THIS WORST BANK IN MIDDLE EAST!

The worst bank ever! Never use any services from this bank, they can’t do anything! Literally I paid full amount of my credit card, they’re charging me already 3 month in a raw finance fee of 100 AED for doing nothing, small hidden charges, there is a list of 10 small hidden charges

Now I understood why customers are complaining a lot about Mashreq. I did an international transfer 10 days ago and amount not credited yet to the beneficiary. Mashreg is saying ask correspodent bank , They informed its Mashreqs fault . In-between I am suffering .In this digital world mashreq not able to track my transaction and giving shameless excuses. Moreover the customer service and complaint department playing hide and seek. I did at least 5 calls and several emails and no use .I don't know now what to do. Only option left is to complaint Central Bank about this . Worst banking experience in my life

Guys. Don't go with Mashreq.
1) Each transaction within UAE itself they will charge 2.10 AED.
2) Technical issues. I transfered money 2 days back and not yet credited to reciever or refunded to me. If I want to forcefully refund it, I have to pay additional 50 AED + vat
3) I tried to take money from other bank ATM. The transaction not happened due to incorrect password. Mashreq charged 3 AED.
4) I paid credit card bill 1 time and debited twice ( refunded after 2 days)
5) For international transfer: Zero service charge with low conversion charge. When I started transferring via other channels, they came up with offers. Now they blocked the transfer to Hubpay. So I took currency from ATM and kept in another account and transferred.

The charges are very weird. If you have free money or too much rich and doesn't care about your money , go for mashreq. They will help you to start thinking about your money.

I am closing my account this month itself. I never seen such a weird fund collection process from customers account.

I created mashreq new bank account for my salary purpose but it as been more than 10 days to activate my bank account but still didn't get activated, I'm very disappointed bcz of this reason my last month salary was pending and every time I Calles customer care service he is not bother about my problem and situation and he told me to wait again 2,3 working days this is how the reputed Bank was working, finally i think it is better to delete this Bank account and go for other bank. This problem not only I was facing , there are other friends are facing the same problem,

The worst bank in UAE
I have been here for 20 Yrs and this bank is a big scam.
I forgot to pay my Credit card for the month of May which was just 1,700 thus the bank charged me 1,000 interest on it the following month, However I had used the card and spend just 18,000 the next month when I made a complain they said we can't do anything.
They look to make money on short trip
I don't need your credit card I will never use this bank never again. WHAT A SHAME!!

Fraud and cheater number 1 in the world, I opened account in mashreq neo and put 3000 AED . They freeze my account without any reason. I sent lots of emails and i called so many times but they didn’t unfreeze.don’t open your account in mashreq .

We opened a business account last year and after 2 months they closed it for aml investigation although all the payments were declared ahead of time. Then they opened the account again and charged fees for those 2 months. We had to follow up on daily basis to renove the charges. Then we requested to close the account, it took them 4 months to close it and they were charging “relationship fees” every month for their bad relationship. They didn’t close the account until we paid the outstanding but we had to do that, because we want to end this bad relationship.
