Went to this hidden gem at the Sheraton Hotel in SZR for my sister’s birthday.

The servers' warmth and hospitality added a wonderful dimension to our dining experience, ensuring we felt genuinely welcomed. A standout feature was their dedication to preserving authentic Jamaican elements, truly elevating the entire culinary journey. The soft reggae melodies playing in the background further enhanced the atmosphere, creating a rhythmically chilled ambience.

What truly impressed my palate were the nuanced Jamaican accents. The incorporation of the spicy scotch bonnet in a chocolate cake and pimento in the slow roasted short rib highlighted the rich and vibrant flavors of Jamaican cuisine. What I also look for these destination dining venues are the simplest dishes yet can be surprisingly memorable – I found it in their dirty mac n’ cheese!

Needless to say, it's another great discovery for me!

Very beautifully grilled octopus for starters. Creative lobster Mac & cheese as main course, kosher was very well cooked as well. and oxtail stew is the most famous dish at the restaurant but I didn’t find it so special. Overall the food tasted good despite the expensive price and the restaurant vibe is amazing.

Miss Lily's was an excellent find. I did not expect to have authentic Jamaican food in the heart of Dubai but I was pleasantly surprised to get more than I planned for. We went on ladies night and there were specials. Shareable plates with plenty of food. I tried the cod fritters, fish taco, spicy shrimp, oxtail spring rolls, and Jamaican patty. The oxtail rolls and taco were the best. Amazing flavors that were complemented by the drinks. The drinks were good too. Service was fine and friendly. I will definitely return when I come back to the area.

Very cool and chill Jamaican restaurant. If you’re looking for a casual night out in Dubai with comfort food this is it! I love this place and the service is always great! I enjoy ordering a few favorite small bites with drinks : fish tacos, corn salad, glazed lamb ribs. Pre-pandemic this place was lit up every Friday and Saturday, I’m yet to confirm this (stay tuned!)

Miss Lily’s is a place I’d always go back to for the amazing staff and lovely music. I ordered three dishes out of them two were delicious (Corn and Banana Frits) the chicken wasn’t my choice but it was good. Everything was on point unfortunately that place doesn’t have a dance floor and the restaurant/lounge is a bit tight. And you can’t be on the table for more than 2 hours which I can understand however by the time we returned the table back the bar was full and we have no choice but to leave. You have to time your visit to that place. Otherwise it is highly recommended

Recently traveled to Dubai from the US with my family. We stayed at the Sheraton Grand Hotel where Ms. Lillys is located. It was 3 days before we could get a reservation and it was worth the wait! The food and drinks were excellent and the music was ????. We danced the night away and shut the place down.

Table are only available for 2 hours so it's a bit short but anyway it's not an issue as from around 11pm it's time to dance till closing!(Monday pum pum night)
You need to book in advance to get a chance for a table after 8.30pm
Great place if you like Jamaican food (the jerk chicken is amazing) and to enjoy afrobeat music.

You will be visiting many local sellers and sometimes have chance to buy goods value.

Sunday car boot well worth a vist. We'll organised friendly people. Cars £7.50 vans £10. Sellers 9am buyers 10am. So plenty of time to set up.
It's a great morning out.

Great car park, reasonable rate for all day parking with the bonus that if you don’t fancy the 5 minute walk, there is a comfortable free shuttle car (driven by Shane), to drop you into the Uni or City centre. For me though, the car spaces are of good width rather than the trend for squeezing in more spaces like most car parks these days!!!

I used the Stuart Road car park for the first time today. I didn't know there was a shuttle bus service but Shane was there waiting to ferry me to town and was really friendly and helpful. Shuttle runs to the railway station, university and Drake Circus. Excellent value for money and parking is secure.

Cheap parking located 5 mins from the train station and 10 mins from the centre of town.

Coat of parking is only £4.50 for 12 hours, there is also a free shuttle bus as well.

Parking is cheaper than in town, would recommend, plus they accept credit/debit cards in the ticket machine.

Have been using to park for a while as more reasonably priced - used the shuttle bus service this morning for the first time - to avoid the weather! - great service, dropped almost at door and Shane is brilliant, friendly and super helpful - definitely makes parking here even better
