Friendly staff. Good quality food. Nice environment. I found that wasabi needed improvement. Katsu curry has sophisticated taste. Unfortunately, oshiburi wet towel (to clean your hands) was not offered, however it is a very important part for the good quality restaurant hospitality in Japan. You can have fork or spoon upon request if you can’t use the chopsticks.

I love their Ramen and sushi. Quite pricey but worth it for its price. Nice view if eating outdoor, you can see the fountain show. You can use your entertainer on main dishes.

Had high expectations from this Japanese restaurant. Skipped the yo-sushi restaurant around the corner to dine at this more upmarket restaurant.

The ambience was very nice they have tables of different capacity from 2 to over a dozen seats. One can sit indoors or in the patio facing the waterfront with a very nice view.

The menu is wide spread. I ordered a sashimi salad as it’s pic was very tempting. When the salad arrived I found just 4-5 pieces of salmon and tuna in total. This I felt this was too little given the price of the dish which was over AED50. I added some unagi maki to my order and I got 4 pieces for AED 32 which just ok.
The soya was too salty and the in-house salad dressing as rather pungent.

To be fair I would not write it off as I didn’t really try any main course this time.

Great Japanese resturant with authentic Japanese food.

I really liked the atmosphere and the variety of setting area, the food tasted great and they bring food promptly without any delay.

We had an issue with the bill that we had to ask for the manager, she were very kind and apologetic and sorted everything out.

I’ll definitely come back to try more delicious dishes.

I remember they used to have some Japanese chef working. Not sure about it now. At least 3 Japanese waitresses working now. Polite and efficient.
I was disappointed that unlike other Japanese restaurants, they don’t have complimentary tea. Have to pay for small green tea pot.
Also you don’t get wet tissue unless you ask. As a Japanese restaurant they should give wet tissue automatically.
I wanted to use the entertainer coupon but the waitress lady said that the dish we ordered(Saikyo miso marinated cod) was not main dish, it’s signature dish so we can’t use the coupon. I thought it’s such a stupid rule.
I was happy with the meal but this stupid rule spoiled my feeling.

I have always been terrified of eating sushi in Dubai with the fear of it not being fresh and not authentic but I am so happy to say that I now have a regular go to place which is Motomachi.
The sushi is freshly handmade and absolutely delicious and the rest of the menu also is so tasty and makes me feel like I’m in Japan.
An absolute must visit if you’re a fan of Japanese food!

Great atmosphere in there. Attenders with Japanese traditional outfits are great sight. Makes it more culture focused. Coming to food, it was outstanding. But we played safe and picked noodles and teriyaki chicken with rice. Definitely coming back for exploring ramens and maki rolls

Great Japanese restaurant! It's affordable and casual, not like those high-end places pretending to be Japanese with just sushi. Motomachi has a selection of authentic dishes on their menu and I can't wait to try them all. I had the ramen for lunch and although it's still not quite the same as home, it is definitely the best one I've had in Dubai so far. Highly recommend this place if you want real Japanese food.
