Terrible move in experience. I arrived 2 days before my contract start date to view the apartment and it felt completely different from before I signed contract. The ceiling in the toilet was missing, the left parts were cut off, everything was dirty and full of mold in the toilet and water was dripping from AC unit. Lots of construction trash around the apartment.

It took me full Saturday to stress out with multiple calls and emails trying to reach them to fix before my contract start date and I had to stay there without any furniture even though my contract hasn’t started. Finally a maintenance person came and told me everything will be fixed on night before I move in. Today I arrived and nothing was fixed apart from cleaning trash. Ceiling is still missing, water is dripping and AC is not working. Attaching some pictures.

My move in experience was great and J think it's because of the real estate agent that I worked with.

I worked with Tareq from Creative Solutions real estate and he is the best. He understood my needs and found me the home I wanted.

He also helped me with all the documentation and made sure that my move in was smooth and stress-free

Their Security refund system is very bad. You will have to chase them with no resolution for months. We vacated our flat by sep22 and until today no refund received for security. Moreover they have plenty of hidden charges , which they will deduct from your security deposit . Almost 50% of your security deposit will be deducted and for getting refund of remaining 50% you would need to wait for ages. Very poor ! Not expected this from Nakheel.
