We visit at above location after 20 mints drive. When we reach their then we come to know that this shop has been moved from this location.then i call on their number but luckily it was not working. Hell management if you move from that location then update on google aswell.

There's a stupid worker, who pretends to be the manager on national day, cashier either paki or indian not too sure. I've ordered from him two baked potato and asked him to leave one plain without cheese and put two cheese on the second one instead. He refused because he said he needed to pay the rent ???????????? basically he needs to pay the rent with a piece of cheese that i technically paid for. Anyway he ended up wasting the food as i rejected the order. So he lost 30 dirhams just for a small piece of cheese. I feel sorry for his real boss to have such an unprofessional worker

I used to love visiting potatoe hut every time in in mercato but yesterday I was sourly disappointed when they had made the potatoe smaller so we had not much potatoe eventhough they are called the potatoe hut.I think I will boycott this business untill they bring it back to the standard as before.

Potato hut is one of the most Unique food ideas ever!

Food
Well, their world revolves around the big potatoes and everthing else is just the fillings.
Sometimes I wonder where do they get the huge potatoes from. ????

For people who don't know, Potato Hut has huge Baked potatoes also served as edible bowls, the baked potato is scraped off the skin and got to the center then other fillings and veggies can be added like corn, mushroom, chicken, beef, cheese, sauces and so much more.
They have their own menu with their own mix and match of the fillings but you can also create your own potato loaded with veggies.

I usually pair Chicken, corn, Jalepenos and Cheese with sauces.

Service - The staff always serves with a smile :)

Ambience - It's in side Mercado mall so it's connected to the food court.

Very bad cheap customer service from the staff who claims to be manager. Indian guy. I had to can cel my order and go to KFC instead.

Food is good but that young girl with the glasses has a no manners and is very disrespectful. She seems to have the confidence to pick and choose what customers she gives good customer service as well. Other staff members have been nice otherwise. I will not be coming here again, there are many other food options in Tunbridge Wells where staff are respectful to customers.

This place has new owners ,for many years it was a place I would not use. The cod and the chips were to my liking, but at £12.50.
Anyone who has avoided this place in the past will have a pleasant surprise.
Note for owner 2 slices of lemon for that price
Would keep you number 1.

Superb fresh chips and the fish is generous and well cooked. Don't forget a tub of curry sauce!

Just eaten here again, absolutely top notch. Enormous piece of cod beautifully cooked. Excellent.

Had a phenomenal fish & chips today from this place. Beautiful fresh flakey fish, crispy batter & well seasoned. Chips, oh, the chips - crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. These new owners know what service is!!!! Must try. I will be back

The menu prices in their flyer are quite different from the shop board, so be aware of this.
I thought I'd been overcharged so rang and complained to the staff but no offer to refund the difference just a weak apology and even weaker explanation about increased wholesale costs since the flyer was printed. Local trading standard office would term this as 'sharp practices'.
Three stars because the food quality was good.

As a regular customer, every time I go to King's fish and chips I am never let down. Not only are the prices good, but the owners, Harry and Ray, are both generous and kind people. The chips are hands down the best in the area and are done just perfectly so that they go great with a nice cod. I would not just advise you try here, but would seriously recommend you go in there and try these chips. Simply the best and greatest value - a true gem in the area!
