Set in the spectacular peak district this tourist attraction has a choice of different trails around the reservoir and up to the dam. There is car parking £ 6.00 for the day ( there is some free parking before you get to the main car park ) toilets and a takeaway cafe are situated near the car park. Ideal for anyone who enjoys the great outdoors. We saw some stunning scenery on the drive over from west Yorkshire . Well worth a visit.

A lovely walk but a little muddy in places. Parking is available on the Heatherdene car park for £3 all day and there are public toilets available. However, if you get there early enough you can park for free in the lay-bys. We visited on a weekday and managed to park without any hassle. We walked about 7 miles past the plugholes, near the end of the circular route, there are signs to advise that there is no walkway on the road but we walked on the grass verge along the side of the road.

Iconic location in Peak District. Finding parking is an issue on weekends so would be ideal to plan ahead. There are few car parks nearby. Also, parking is available on the road towards Bamford Edge.

Reservoir or a big lake surrounded by green forest. Great for a weekend after noon walk or cycling. Paid parking is available £5. Free parking is also there but little far from the reservoir. As the reservoir is surrounded by small hills you can give a try for hiking as well. Fishing is not allowed here. There is a small cafe near to the reservoir, also couple of hotels are there.

Great reservoir. We passed by here while descending from Back Tor. Lots of lovely walks round this area, plenty of parking spots and great views.

Wonderful and unique place to visit! a beautiful Ladybower plughole, just sad that this season was quite dry so when we arrived there was no flooding water in it... whole reservoir quite dry... but still worth to look and see this unique object and whole place around it! highly recommended!

Great views of Ladybower reservoir's sink holes at either end of the dam wall and a nice pathway of tarmac, hardcore mixed alongside the valley woodland side of the reservoir make this a must visit if you're in this area taking in other wonderful places like Derwent, Bamford, Hope, Edale and many, many more.
Plenty of places to park including some roadside parking adjacent to the reservoir.

Parked in Heatherdene car park, £3 all day card or cash - toilets on site, then we walked over to Ladybower and a walk around the shores today, first visit wasn't sure what to expect but the reservoir looks low
