What a pretty pretty restaurant! Right on the ground floor of DoubleTree with the main entrance through parking.
I had made a reservation beforehand as we were celebrating my husband’s birthday. The service was prompt and food delicious. They had a nice high chair for my toddler. And they also added chicken to his pasta when I requested.
I got sea bass and my husband got fish and chips and there was warm freshly baked bread to start with. The grilled octopus was amazing as well.
We had fun celebrating there.

Loved the place.. the vibes, the food and service were so good.
We ordered oysters, steak and shrimp pasta all tasted so good!
The waiter was very nice and they had an offer on oysters before 8pm one for 10 aed only.
Would definitely come back

They've stepped up the game at the Maine JBR. The Maine has always been a favourite spot for us for dinner, but we have never gone for lunch. After seeing a post of the salted whole seabass, I brought my whole visiting family (super picky eaters) to lunch. I had texted the manager Roman in advance, and my husband booked us a large table. All of the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with our large party. The food was excellent. I wish I had taken more pictures of everything that we had ordered. One particular Uncle who is very particular said it was one of the best experiences he's had in Dubai. 10/10 will visit for lunch more often.

Located at the Double Tree, opposite to the main hotel entrance. Not easy to find i if you come by foot, no pathway for pedestrians marked, you have to use the garage entrance - which is far from a safe solution.
Superb quality of food and beverages, my seafood dishes were delicious. Attentive service with sense of humor. I would like "Angry Lobster" - "How angry would you like to have it?"
Music much too loud - good for a pub yet not good at all for a restaurant.

The quirky entrance leads to a sea of food smells with memorable relaxed music.

As menus go, its high quality with so much variety. I recommend the Black Cod with Poutine.

Love the ambiance and the menu choices. Fantastic service - Roman and the staff members are friendly and attentive. Their appetizers and desserts (apart from the excellent customer service) are the things that make us wanna come back!

***This review is based on the oysters and atmosphere only. We didn't try their food, so I can't say anything about that.***

Great oyster selection. We got the dozen Dibba Bay platter and a couple of Gillardeau and Kelly Galway each. The servers were friendly and had good oyster knowledge. Some oysters weren't available, but there's a good selection to make up for that.

We went during brunch but not for brunch, just the oysters. The music inside was too loud, which is always a no-no for me personally. If you dont mind that, then The Maine is a great restaurant for oysters and prosecco. We sat outside instead to enjoy our oysters.

They offer oysters in a very low price once a week. The place is elegant and classy. They also have live singers and its a good vibes for couple. The food is recommendable especially the salmon! A must try place
