It was a very good experience at this place, the food was good and the service was super.

It was a ten minute wait, but it was worth it. The server was helpful. Enough sitting area around the outlet, kept clean and very well managed.

Plenty of parking around the food court. But the weekends can get very hectic.

My recent experience at Umami was utterly disappointing. The service, food quality, and overall atmosphere left much to be desired. Here's a brief summary of the major issues:

1. Unappetizing Food:
The dishes served were poorly prepared and lacked flavor. The presentation was lackluster, and the taste did not match the menu descriptions. It was a major letdown in terms of both quality and creativity.

2. Overpriced Disappointment:
Considering the subpar experience, the prices were unreasonably high. It felt like a rip-off, paying a premium for mediocre food and service.

I strongly advise against visiting the restaurant the prices make it a regrettable dining choice. Spare yourself the disappointment and find a better establishment for your dining needs.

I recently visited the Umami Restaurant branch at Dubai Festival City, and it was a great experience. The restaurant specializes in Japanese cuisine, and I ordered their teriyaki chicken Don. The dish was flavorful, and the teriyaki sauce was perfectly balanced, complementing the chicken and rice. The portion size was generous, making it a satisfying meal. Overall, the dish was excellent, earning a high rating of 8/10.

The service at Umami Restaurant in Dubai Festival City was exceptional. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and quick to attend to our needs. The restaurant has a modern and cozy atmosphere, making it an excellent place to dine with family and friends. They provided chopsticks and spoons/forks, making it easy to enjoy the food in the traditional way.

I've lived in Japan. The food is excellent, for the price. It's great to see Umami in Dubai Festival City Mall. Eat there at least once a week.

I ordered the chicken Katsu Ramen.
The quantity was decent. Fried Chicken was nice but the ramen was not good, tasted like fish soup and the egg tasted old.

The presentation is not good especially the tempura, very disappointed for the price of 34 aed. I used to eat in Umami Al Ghurair and order the same. The lady who took order is not friendly as well
