We paid for 1 month stay at residences and have been staying in the hotel currently, and 2 weeks remained. The Westminster Hotel, the residences part of Adress Hotel Dubai Mall, shares the same hotel enterance, same areas, same parking, same access to the Mall, same rest seats, same, etc with Adress Hotel. They also introduce themselvels as "residences section of Adress Hotel Dubai Mall". However, when you have a problem and need help from reception, first reaction of reception staff will be most probably like that: "We are not Westminster, the guy sitting there is." Yeah, it is true. The Westminster Hotel is represented with only 1 guy. Mohammad, the only responsible guy, taking care of everything. I really appreciate his effort. There were some missing and broken parts in the apartment when we made check-in, and he immediately solved the problems. When my parking access card dropped into the machine, he helped me to get new one. He was always ready to help guests and there is no problem with him. Actually, the problem is related to Adress Hotel reception staff, who seem conditioned to disregard your every request, as defending themselves they are not Westminster personnal. Ok, I understand, they are the staff of Adress Hotel, but they are sharing the same area. Moreover, we, as guests, sharing the same area with them. When you ask, so where is the reception of Westminster? The Adress Hotel staff at reception says that this desk is not a reception of Westminster Hotel and the Westminster staff will be there (showing the empty seats at waiting area) and ignores your request or question (9th July 2023, evening, residences side reception). My delivery from Amazon should have been delivered to the reception, but they couldn't answer where my delivery was. Because there was no reception according to them. We later found our delivery in front of the room door. Secondly, lost baggage issue. I wouldn't have planned to write this issue until this evening, but I am writing now because of the unpolite behaviour of Adress Hotel reception guy this evening. They lost my plastic baggage on the way from my car to the room while my baggages being transferred with troley, and they couldn't find it. After one day investigation, they explained that someone put it into trash mistakenly. I behaved friendly and said ok, I understand, only bathroom materials were inside that plastic baggage (but could have been valuable things in it as well). Thirdly, even though housekeeping guys are always trying their best, the floor carpets are really dirty and rooms need to be cleaned in deep (our little kid is 2 years old and he is on carpets all the time, etc). In general, I have experienced this "ghost reception" image and disregarding attitude by nearby "big hotel's" staff. By the way, why "Adress Residences" is typed on my Westminster room access card, if Westminster is totally a separate hotel? Why the access cards are given from the Adress Hotel reception, if they don't care about Westminster guests? Long story short, if I had a chance again, I wouldn't prefer to stay in this hotel. Not beacuse of Westminster hotel staff, but this is beacuse of Adress Hotel staff. Only thanks to Mohammad, who does his best to carry the hotel on his arms.
