I came to the shop 9:18 pm Tuesday 16th November 2021 and its 9:28 now and no body is in the shop !!! I came just for this shop to the galleria and yet nobody is there !!! I hope the owner of the company sees this message ..

Made the booking 2 months before the date and booked the one day course for my 13 year old son and Dad. What an experience we had the weather on the day was perfect for flying and we reached 4500ft. The day course gave us a good understanding of the principles of flying a glider. From our Instructor to all the staff on the ground were all Safety consciousness and we had nothing to worry about. Our 5 flights on the day were from 30-47 minutes long. The overall facilities are very clean and well maintained and the Food in the restaurant was great value for money and well prepared. Looking forward to returning in 2023!!

Went for a visit to watch the gliders. While it’s not as busy as Heathrow airport, there was a steady stream of gliders taking off, but the gliders are only a part of the reason why you should go here.
The other parts are the views and the cafe.
Lovely place to sit and have a tea/meal while watching the gliders.
Will be back with the grandkids.

First time here watching a relative take off. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was amazing to see the gliders taking off and landing. There is a big café too which is reasonable in prices. Plenty of seats near the main entrance. I'm so tempted to give it a try for my 30th next year. My father in law did it and he's 80! The staff really knew what they were doing and made everyone feel comfortable and at ease. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.

Amazing experience, first flight and absolutely recommend it. The cost is a fraction of the experience, its a must do bucket list entry.

Truly amazing experience. The gliding instructors were friendly, very easy to talk to and thoroughly explained everything.

Envious of the Pilot Gliding above such a view and free as birds.
Granddaughter (19mths) Loved them followed as they few near us.

While I did not go to the Gliding club (flying in a plane with no engine does make me slightly nervous).I did walk past it the views from the top of the ridge were amazing.
If you want to get down of the ridge there are steps a bit further on although. Whoever was responsible for putting the steps in place quite frankly needs to be strung up and shot!!!!!!!!!
Because I have been down those steps a few times now and each time I've been relieved to reach the bottom without breaking my neck.
According to the our walk leader on top of the ridge there was a huge iron age hill fort .(One of the biggest in the country apparently), but the Gliding club have completely flattened it.

Great location, friendly welcome.comprehensive but unexciting fleet of aircraft available to members. Very nice setting with good facilities. Large ridge which appears to run North/South but I haven't flown from there yet so limited knowledge. Looks to be good thermal soaring opportunities. Also looks well positioned to exploit lee waves from the peninsula etc. I will return & would recommend.
