They are the best among the worst. I rented premium SUV but had to replace it a few times due to technical issues. It seems the marketplace for rent a car in DXB and probably Dubai in general is not a smooth sail for all type of tourists and visitors. You will have to expect the worst whether you rent from Avis or other businesses regardless.

I had the most positive and professional experience renting a car in a long time. Not only I was provided with a new vehicle, but I was accommodated with all my numerous requests and extensions. The communication was always super fast. The paperwork was provided and explained carefully. Great value and comfortable vehicle. The staff was always patient and super accommodative, even when I returned my vehicle at the wrong terminal ????

When you ignore your long term customers, don't expect loyalty. Am Avis president level and team refusing to provide special service at the least like your next neighbour Thrifty.

They find creative ways to take EXTRA FEES!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I rent cars all over the world and most places, Avis is really good...but in Dubai, HORRIBLE

Watch out from them, they rip you off after some times. This actually happened with me, I rented a car from them and while using it, I got a traffic violation ticket, I made sure to pay it before I hand over the car, and after a 3 months or so they called to inform me that there’s a traffic violation on me, I told them it has been paid, provided them with all proofs from my bank statement and car record which clearly shows that the violation has been paid, despite all of the proofs I gave, still they withdrew 521 AED from my card.

Terrible place to rent. Spent about 2 hours at the checkin after a long international flight and then they didn't have the car we rented inspite of the reservation. We haven't got a refund after nearly a week

With 15 counters in the section only 2 are working. It was a pathetic service given by DXB Airport, even at this time of Expo.
Wasted almost 2 hours with no reason.
When will these systems chance and get into international standards??
