Love this place, but campers please remember tent walls are only a thin material so watching TV in your tent at night with the volume turned up isn't ideal! Apart from that the site is fabulous, lots to do and so much space. The shop is well stocked, staff are friendly, location top notch.

Absolutely love this place. Almost a destination in itself.

Accommodation is clean and functional if staying in lodges/vans. Campsite as tourer or tent equally good in terms of wash facilities, etc. On site shop, fairly well stocked.

Visited many times, love coming back. Great for young families, those right teenagers, couples - anyone really!

North Norfolk railway halt always a must do, swimming pool small but fairly clean and warm with helpful staff, walks abundant with nature, cycle tracks, ping pong tables, tennis courts,

Had a lovely stay at Kelling Heath over last bank holiday. Meal in restaurant was delicious Definitely recommend cheesecake best ever! The staff were friendly over the whole site. Lovely woodland walks, well equipped shop, lovely cafe. I’ve been coming here on and off for over 30 years and it has grown into an awesome site with a great location near Cromer, and surrounding area. Highly recommend if I could give it more stars I would!

We've been coming here for over 18 years, sorry to say, never again.
We normally come out of season, but made the mistake of coming during the start of the school holidays.
Kelling Heath is sold as a peaceful, tranquil and relaxing holiday, dark sky, no WiFi and plenty of wildlife. Our experience was everything but.
We arrived on Saturday, and that evening we were relaxing in our Woodlark caravan, when the music started in the Square. The bass was so loud, it drowned out the TV. We spoke to the Duty Manager who got the volume turned down, about an hour later. After driving for over two and a half hours to get here, we just wanted a peaceful and relaxing evening. The following Tuesday, again there was music in the Square, which drowned out our TV, it finally stopped at 9pm. Our caravan although quite new, was disappointing, one of the toilets was so small that when you were in there, you couldn't close the door. The other toilet/shower was bigger but the shower was very small and cramped. The main bedroom was small, our feet stuck out of the small bed, which was also very uncomfortable. Kelling Heath is sold as a peaceful, tranquil and relaxing holiday, it wasn't for us.
Takeaway vans in the Square, over loud music, dogs barking, and their owners not clearing up after them. We had booked another holiday for September this year, but cancelled it, during our stay. The whole ethos of Kelling Heath has changed for the worse, in my opinion. We cut our holiday short by two days as there was entertainment in the Square on the Thursday and we didn't want to be subjected to over loud music, again. The day after we got home, we received a call from Kelling Heath asking why we cut our holiday short, we gave them the reasons, and was offered a discount on our next holiday at Kelling Heath, needless to say we won't be returning.
I am upset and disappointed that we won't be returning to Kelling Heath, but times change, not always for the better. ????????

We have been to Kelling Heath a few times now, and we have stayed in the "Nightjar" static lodges. These are fantastic and in a great location. There have been some new additons to the centre since last time i came, such as the large undercover seating area and the daily food vans, offering different types of cuisine. The outdoor pool is still cold, but for some reason, the kids love it. (Make sure you book to use it) The walks around the woodland are brilliant, and there is wildlife everywhere. Seeming this is a large site, you don't see many people. Kelling Heath is excellently situated to explore the surrounding area, Holt has some lovely shops and also the Station for the North Norfolk Railway, which also has a station at Kelling Heath (just a short walk through the woods) this steam train takes you through to Sheringham. Cromer is a fifteen minute drive, and if you have a National Trust card, there's loads of stuff all within a 20-minute drive that you can do.

I've noticed there's a lot of negative reviews of Kelling Heath on here, i think these people have missed the point, to be honest. Yes, the restaurant isn't open every day. This is because there is a national shortage of good chefs since Brexit, yes the prices have gone up, but they have gone up every where (this is also due to Brexit and having a bad government) also some people seem to think it should be like Butlins, wanting djs and dance acts etc, if you want Butlins go to Butlins. If you're tight for cash, there's plenty of cheaper places to eat in Cromer, Sheringham, or Holt. Or go shopping in Lidl near Cromer and cook for yourself. Also moaning about the internet, come on! This is a woodland, you are adults, you should know internet connections are hard to get in the countryside and even more so in woodland! Put your phone away and enjoy nature.

Kelling Heath is a great holiday base, with plenty to do around the area, the staff are friendly, and the lodges are clean and to a high standard. There's more than enough to do whether it's blazing sun or peeing it down.

We stayed for the weekend in our campervan for the real ale and gin festival. Couldn't fault the site and amenities. Lovely large site which blends in with the woodland. The only criticism of the weekend was the system of tokens at the bar which overcomplicated things and could only be bought in £10 denominations. We ended up with unspent tokens which had to be spent on site with no offer of a refund.

Really nice location to enjoy a weekend camping break. The park is great, with large pitches, and excellent facilities. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Cant fault it!

Stay here twice yearly for the astronomy weekends.
Always well organised and staff friendly and helpful.
Good size pitches and facilities are very good, nice and clean.
There are plenty of water points, too.
Visited the first weekend it was open 2023.
Excellent walks and plenty to do.
Dark sky's too, so bring a telescope
