Terrible experience, I rented a car and they asked for £500 deposit on a Volkswagen T-Roc. It’s been nearly a month and I have had no communication regarding the return of my deposit, I have emailed several different people and no replies. They are literally ignoring my WhatsApp messages and blue ticking me, my last resort it to contact my bank.

Very bad experience and I wouldn't recommend Europecar at all.
Slow staff and bad business model where you have to wait hours to get your car LITERALLY hours, in my case and tens of people like me I waited 2 hours to reach the counter in terminal and then about 1.5 hour waiting at the A2 parking for the car to reach from outside parking.
Very bad experience that taught me a lesson that I'd pay 10% extra and save 4 hours of my time.
DONT GO TO THIS CAR RENTAL COMPANY

Very bad rental company do not use them. Rented a car for 12 days returned the car had it checked by member of staff who confirmed car was good no damage and exact level of fuel signed document. Come back to uk and they have been charging my credit card non stop for different amounts totalling over £1000 and not one person can explain what charges are and no response from dubai branch either have opened up fraud investigation with my bank. Avoid at all costs !!!!

A really nice car which was low mileage, price very reasonable. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Very easy to get in and out of Airport and not far to walk.

When arriving last night, we picked up our pre-booked Volvo S90. Really nice and comfortable car, until this morning when the tires appeared to be in such a bad condition, that one was leaking. After several phone calls later and two hours later, a driver came with another S90 to replace our initial vehicle. Very good and no-nonsense service!
But Europcar, please check your car's tires more often. The Dubai temperatures and roads are not friendly for the rubber.

I hired a car on 13/02 with them.
Having no received my deposit back : 2500 aed, I sent a couple of emails and tried to call many times, beeing out on answering machine with no answer.
On 23/05 they finally replied mentioning that the refund from March (!!!!) never went through.

They have all legal details to proceed with the refund but still are asking for full card details + expiry code. Hence they are not refunding.

This is scandalous and DED complain will be raised !

The amount of bad reviews was overwhelming but we still proceeded with the rental. The whole experience was completely seamless for us and everything was ready according to our booking, including the car seat. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I haven't received any invoice for the extra charge which appeared after some time. No issue with the charge itself, I did my homework and know that it's for Salik tolls but I can understand why people (who know nothing about Salik tolls) are getting upset for seeing those extra charges without the corresponding invoice. Very easy fix on Europcar's side which will help to avoid some 1 star reviews. Other than that, happy with our car rental experience.
